1:40 that exact same ride was also known as Thunder looper at Alton towers. It went to the UK after kings dominion and was in the massive trench that houses the parks pirate ship today. It was removed because it was too loud and could be heard by locals (imposing a sound limit on the park alongside the pre existing height requirements to keep everything under the tree line) So yeah I would also love to get to Brazil and ride the shuttle loop, it’s had an incredibly varied history.

Sorry you didn't get to ride the original version. It was 80 degrees (26C) at Hersheypark yesterday and now that I've gotten a fully warmed-up ride on it, I honestly think Skyrush was just as good as it was with the old restraints. The laterals are perhaps ever-so-slightly diminished, but everything else about the ride is still top-10-worthy for me. Hope you get out there soon to enjoy it!

I was expecting it to not be the best coaster ever but so far no other one beat it. Naturally part of that is the magic that was involved in finally visiting this legendary Park and being able to ride this legendary ride in this amazing location.

As a Chinese person (though I live in NJ now), I am very happy to see some of China's best coasters are mentioned here! Wood Coaster and Python in Bamboo Forest deserve all the hype they are getting because they are truly amazing. If you have done rides like Mystic Timbers and loved it, then you will be sure to love Wood Coaster and Python in Bamboo Forest even more. I personally like Python SLIGHTLY more than Wood Coaster because of its insane length, but that may be because I never rode Wood Coaster with a full train (because Knight Valley is always empty). Starry Sky Ripper feels very different from other B&M flyers for sure, and Dinoconda is probably my favorite roller coaster in China. Also, though it is not a coaster, I still want to recommend Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Shanghai, which is simply one of my favorite rides of all time. I know China can be pretty hard to get to but if anyone is interested in going I would love to provide all the tips that I can :D

Honestly, my biggest dream is just get to Europe and hit as many parks as possible while there! =) Bucket list coasters that I've ridden: Voyage, Fury 325, Skyrush, Wildcat's Revenge, Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Millennium Force, Lightning Rod (with the launch!), Top Thrill Dragster, Leviathan (SO FUN), Firehawk (at KI), Phantom's Revenge, Cyclone at Coney Island, Skyliner at Lakemont Park (ridden that twice but no LTD!), and Steel Curtain at Kennywood (apparently it's temperamental so we were thrilled when it was actually working when we were there last summer). Hoping to cross off Silver Dollar City (Time Traveler!) this coming summer during my next theme park road trip! =)

The ride that got me back into rollercoasters was when I saw pictures and videos of Steel Dragon 2000. I know you've said that it might be the weakest gigacoaster out there but I don't care: It's big, fast and red! That structure is intimidating and those three perfectly lined up hills are so iconic. So, that was the one that got me to Japan last month. However, my favourite ride in that trip was Pyrenees, which I think you both should put on your bucketlist. It's awesome!

Leap the Dips is such a unique and cool experience in todays coasters. And yes it does have some air time which seems crazy but it’s true. And even going from back to front row changes the ride experience a lot. Also Skyliner is a cool classic coaster too! It’s definitely rough at some points but it has some fun air time. It’s still a cool ride. If anyone sees this go out to Lakemont when (or if sadly) the rides reopen. Leap the dips is worth the trip and skyliner is a fun classic coaster as well. It just needs some more love and care the bottom of some of those hills are BRUTAL. But kinda fun still? It’s a weird feeling. I got to go in August 2023 and I’m so glad I did because now who knows what happens to that place and the coasters

Considering people say Skyrush is way more intense in it's ejector, that puts it straight up there! 2) Ejanaika - I've been to Japan twice and never made it to Fuji Q, but that thing just looks insane. 3) I305 - I love an intense ride and just have to see if this thing lives up to what people say. 4) Ride to Happiness - I think everything that needs to be said was covered in the video, super unique and really hyped, but I've got to try it before the extreme spinner becomes more widespread. 5) Hakugei - Iron Gwazi is my current #1, and it was a toss up between this and SteVe, but Hakugei just seems more unique. I also think I'm more likely to make it out to Japan than Ohio within the next few years, but you never know! Honorable mentions: T-Express, Helix, Taron & FLY, Voyage, Lighting Rod, Shambhala

two lesser known ones that come to mind for me are these: Euro-Star at Gorky Park in Russia. One of the largest travelling coasters ever built, basically imagine a Batman Clone except it's a travelling coaster (well was travelling) Big Boom at Nasu Highland Park in Japan. It began its life just like any other Meisho shuttle loop. Reverse lift hill, vertical loop, spike, nothing special. However, in 1987 the coaster was turned into a full circuit coaster, with its loop being relocated elsewhere in the layout. RCDB states that its first drop is at a 75° angle. If that's the case, then if you exclude coasters with single-car trains (like Intamin drop towers and Togo ultra twisters), I think that coaster was the steepest coaster in the world for quite a long time! Mainly though, apparently the airtime on that first drop is absolutely unreal

Big Boom is an AWESOME ride and is definitely worthy of being on your bucket list! We have heard of Euro-Star, super interesting ride!

Some of my bucket list coasters are Formula Rossa, Eejanaika, Phantom's Revenge, Smiler, Nemesis Reborn, Shambhala, & Ride To Happiness
@Adaptersepp7 ай бұрын
7 of them you listed I have checked - on my list Nemesis Reborn and Voltron is written down for this year and lots of US rides for my next trip to your country. Greets from Munich

On our US park trip, last year July we rode quite a few bucketlist coasters. Sadly we missed: Wildcats Revenge (closed for maintenance) and Gatekeeper (downtime) 😫

I completely understand the sentimental bucket list item. I’d love to go ride Bocaraca at Parque Diversiones in Costa Rica. It was my first coaster with an inversion when it was Whirlwind at Knoebels.

China es the trip i have been waiting from you guys for years. Want to see those reviews of python, wood coaster, coaster through the clouds and sky reaper. I thought Shivering timbers would make this list

Viper at Magic Mountain is definitely one of my big bucketlist rides I need to get on!

since i've only been to gröna lund and liseberg i would absolutely love to go to just about any other park and ride the coasters and stuff, one day i will do that :)

I think I have mentioned previously but 100% i305 (or whatever it’ll be called!) for me … obviously so many others given I have limited experience of parks outside the UK but I love aggressive coasters so i305 is a no brainer. FYI I was lucky enough to visit SFGA about 11 years ago and fell in love with El Toro - currently my favourite coaster. I’m guessing that’ll change! Planning on joining your Patreon after we move house!

I think mostly all coasters on my bucketlist are from the US of A...and The Smiler! It's hard to name all rollers but mostly all coasters in this video are on my bucketlist. Some day in the future I might have riden 45% of them all. One of the coasters that is being built and that is fresh on my bucketlist is the coaster that will be added to Gröna Lunds expansion, it will be awsome 😼

I haven’t left the US except for Canada yet so obviously many that were mentioned here plus Dragon Mountain is high for me. In the US, Renegade at Valleyfair might be at the top right now and im gonna get it this year. A couple that I’m not sure when I’ll get there are New Texas Giant and Boardwalk Bullet.

I think Fluch von Novgorod is pretty much an outstanding ride as Schwur des Kärnan. This is how you make an immersive coaster experience, I love it so much. Next to F.L.Y. I wouldn't want to miss Black Mamba. They heavily themed the ride itself as well as the queue area which is much more enjoyable than most others. It's such a shame F.L.Y. and Taron queue lines didn't receive the same love.

Its funny you should mention the shuttle loop at Hopi Hari because that's a bucket list of mine too when it used to operate as thunderlooper at Alton Towers after it was removed from Kings dominion!

I very recently went to Fiesta Texas for the 2nd time ever (my 2nd time at an amusement park) and I got hit with the coaster bug along with some friends. We're thinking of heading up to Pennsylvania in September and wondered if there are any great towns nearish to HersheyPark that we could stay at for about a week.
being that I’m too fat to go onto a lot of coasters my bucket list as of right now is dependant on if I can lose enough weight to get onto them, but a lot of the ones in the video are ones I wish I could ride, like I would LOVE to ride anything at Cedarpoint but with the 215 pound max weight for an overwhelming majority of their coasters, the likelihood of me getting onto most of the bigger coasters is pretty much slim to none, I am happy that Zamperla is trying to make their rides and coasters more accessible for the majority of people, but I wish more ride manufacturers would be like them, there’s a very unique KMG Ride at my home park, PNE/Playland in Vancouver, Canada called The Beast, and it’s been open for years and I have yet to go on it and it really sucks because it actually does look like a fun ride.

Love your content, guys! As a 'later in life' CE (got my start riding 'The Coaster' at Dorney back in the late '60s)' you have been a great inspiration as I fill that bucket list 😊. 2024 has already seen me check off Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi. Late summer, my wife and I will visit Phantasialand and Alton Towers. Can't wait! Keep up the good work. You are a treasure to the CE community.

As a Danish guy, there is one specific credit, not even that far away, that I've been wanting to get to for years, but just never gotten remotely close to. And thats Wildfire at Kolmården. I've never done an RMC in my whole carreer, and missed out on Untamed at Walibi Holland by like a year. So I've yet to experience their coasters, Its just a shame that the nearest one is so far out of the way at a wildlife park of all places. Though this also reminds me, I haven't visited Liseberg since 2017 so I also gotta get to Liseberg at some point. Probably Finland too since I did visit Linanmaki once, but that was back in 2016, way before Taiga opened and back when they still had a water coaster in its place.

Not to talk bad about Fly, because yes its definitely an experience that is one of its kind atm, but it also felt like a workout, cause your mind just tells you to press your body more into the seats cause of the gravity being so heavy on your body (Maybe just bad for heavier people like myself) and thus didnt feel as rerideable as most of the other coasters in Phantasialand, especially compared to Mamba or Taron. With that being said, this Ride still absolutely blew my mind and I was questioning how great Swiss Engineering is after riding it.

So many of these are also on my bucket list. even though I was one of the many patrons that suggested the Smiler, honestly all of Alton Towers secret weapons are on my bucket list

For a lot of people, Rodelbaan in De Waarbeek, The Netherlands is a bucke list coaster. Because it is a steel coaster that opened in 1930.

I think for me it would be most of the rides at Islands of Adventures, I have only ever been there once when I was 6 years old. Never did any of the rollercoasters there expect the Woody The Woddpecker coaster which I don't think is there anymore. But Hulk, Duelling Dragons (when that was a thing), Hagrids, Veliosicoaster, none of those were either there or I was too young to experience.
@theballingboi53607 ай бұрын
A few bucket list rides I can do reasonably easily would be dragon mountain, leviathan at Canada's wonderland, and I305. More difficult ones would probably be ride to happiness, eejinaika (probably butchered that), and wildfire an kolmaarden (again, probably butchered that)

I love this video, so many great coasters. I'm from Ireland so have only a few coasters in our home park, Emerald Park. I'm lucky to have done some greats like FLY, Taron, Gotham City Escape and Shambhala. Zadra and Voltron are in my sights for 2024, also the Swarm and Hyieria. Other bucket list coasters I hope to do are Velocicoaster, Mako, Gate Keeper, Big Bear Mountain, Maverick, Toutatis, Ride to Happiness and of course Iron Gwazi. Oh so so many coasters!! 😅😅

I went to seaworld orlando last year and didn't get to ride Mako or pipeline(this was before it was officially opened) and went to Great Adventure this year and did not get to ride Jersey Devil. The fear of Lightning Rod being down is what had been keeping me away from Dollywood also :D
