This was one of our most anticipated days of the trip! We couldn't wait to visit Plopsaland so we could experience Ride to Happiness, a MACK Rides Extreme Spinning Coaster with a reputation for being one of the craziest rides in the world!

Dude, you guys still have it pretty normal for a theme park. Do you really think you have it expensive over there? Go to a Six Flags park and have fun trying to buy a water bottle under 4 or 5 dollars as iv spent over $6 on one.

I advise you to take a suite in the hotel though... I did that in February and we payed around €200,- / person for 2 days park + Plopsaqua with both breakfast and dinner (and the dinner is good! Not just fries, but very varied!) And the minibar was included, so you had 5 cans of soda to take with you into the park.

Ride to Happiness looks relentless. I can’t believe a “family park” hosts that coaster. I really hope they add more throughout the world! I still really want to try Time Traveller Edit: just finished the vlog! this was one of my faves for sure. what east coast park do you all think should get one of the Mack spinners? I think one would be really fitting at Kings Dominion or Dollywood or even!

I can't wait to hear ya'lls full review on RTH!! After my first lap, I actually found myself on the brake run questioning if it was my new #1 over voyage (RTH is now my #2). Also, you all have to get night rides on it one day!! Edit: In 2025, apparently Holiday Park is getting a Tomorrowland themed area and will be anchored with a Mack Extreme Spinner. Please someone in the U.S. build one of these!!

Yes, Holiday Park will get a Tomorrowland-Area in 2025 but it is still not confirmed what kind of attraction they will build. For sure it will be a big one but according to the Holiday Park Fanday in october 2022 they have three different options from different manufactories right now.

The reason SuperSplash is not on RCDB, is because unlike other Mack SuperSplashes, it only has a drop and a bunny hill. This is something many log flumes also feature. Others of it's kind often feature a backwards section, or some other kind of coaster section.

Great video! Ride to Happiness looks so good! The prices at this park are ridiculous though even for clothes. It surprised me seeing a Pizza Hut there. The water rides there looked really fun!

Studio 100 (A Belgian company that produces children tv series owns a bunch of parks in Europe (including this and Holiday Park), The division that owns the parks is called the Plopsa Group, after two of their series (Gnome Plop and Samson & Gert) They theme most of their rides around these characters (e.g. Anubis, Bumba, Pete Pirate or Heidi) They do this in similar fashion to Disney or Universal, but obviously on a smaller scale.

I had never heard of Ride to Happiness or the music festival it's associated with, but they look awesome! I heard of this park because I watched a walkthrough of Plopsa Coo and it looked very pretty. So, there is actually a whole lot of controversy around the prices at Plopsaland De Panne. They are indeed ridiculous. They are indeed the highest in Europe. Interestingly enough, Plopsa officials even said they want to increase prices more. I guess you can do that when literally all kids in a country watch the same shows made by the same company (Studio 100 makes a whole lot of kids shows and puts attractions based on these shows at Plopsaland). Sadly,, this increase in prices is a sign for other parks to do the same. All food and drinks at all the Belgian themeparks are ridicilously expensive. Another point I want to elaborate is the theming on the Log Flume. A couple years back, it was themed to "The castle of king Samson". "Samson and Gert" was a kids show made by (you guessed it, Studio 100, together with Gert Verhulst, the guy that made studio 100 a thing and basically became really rich because of it) and for some reason, they thought that dragons, dino's and an alpine village all next to each other made more sense. If you ask me they completely ruïned the feel and intention of the area for a stupid theme that has nothing to do with the actual park or actual thematic zones.

I feel like I haven't been as impressed with Ride to Happiness as others. The fault has to be with me 🤣 It's a ten out of ten ride, of course, and the forces are insane. But I didn't feel like I never knew what was going on or got particularly disorientated. It's absolutely a top 10 coaster in Europe for me as of right now. But I can't personally say top 5. I went to Plopsaland this past April and RTH was running one train due to the incident which happened prior. We had to wait over two hours per ride, so we only got two….

I went to Silver Dollar city 2 months ago and rode time traveler at least 15 times. It is now my number 1 coaster and I wish I could go back and ride it. If Ride to Happiness is anything like Time Traveler, then I want to get on it so bad. My home park is Kings Island and I think one of these Mack Extreme spinners would be perfect considering that we don't have a spinning coaster in our lineup. Please Cedar Fair, bless Kings Island with one of these, I'm begging you.

Ride to happiness is fantastic, but I believe Kondaa is even better ;-) If Kondaa had trains with spinning cars, it would be dangerous, haha! When we go to Plopsaland De Panne, we always stay overnight (not the Plopsaland Hotel) and we never buy food or drinks at the park, just out of protest! Prices are ridiculous!!!

That 5 euro water annoyed me all day too. I think RTH is probably my second best Mack coaster after DC Rivals, however there are many other rides i'd rank above them. For me Zadra, Hyperion, Untamed, Kondaa and Taron were just better rides overall. I did get 7 rides on RTH, but it felt very shaky with a distinct rattle/vibration that took away from the fun for me unfortunately. Also, don't miss the WELT doco "Pure Thrills" on RTH released recently. It's a must watch for any RTH fans.
