Royal Enfield Classic 350 - Rear brake pedal adjustment

Adjusting the rear brake pedal on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. It seems these pedals vary in height from bike to bike and of course rider preference. If the bike is new your Dealer should adjust this for you at your first service if you ask. If you want to do it yourself it's an easy enough job to do.

I too found the brake pedal to high and adjusted it as you have described. I also removed the rubber pad you put your foot on and replaced it with a piece of 5mm thick self adhesive rubber. However before doing this I removed the steel pad and shortened the tag by 13mm and welded the pad back on. This allowed my foot to sit in a more comfortable position and making it easier to move your foot over the pedal when brake application is required.

Hi, do you have a photo somewhere how you shortened the pedal, it is not comfortable for me also and I am thinking to do some experiments to fit my foot..thanks

Some folk have already made a similar video but I think searching is not turning up the films going by folk often asking on social media how easy is it to adjust the pedal to lower it slightly, hopefully folk see this and it helps them out 👍😁 Cheers Bruce

Hi, could be low fluid, spongy pedal- needing bled, if pedal firm then maybe pads are dirty or glazed? Hope this advice helps! 😁👍

Thanks for the video. Do you know where to adjust the back brake light switch? Mine comes on only if a apply a lot of pressure on the pedal, but I want it to be more sensitive. Cheers!

Not that I know of but I’m sure if you trace the wire it has an adjustable part to sort this?
