If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.

I've only just found your channel Mark after purchasing my first Mini. The detail you have put into these videos are of the highest standard. I'll definitely be utilising the links you provided, and will be watching all your videos over the next couple of months. Thank you.

You sir are an absolute legend, your videos are above and beyond and rival those provided by the likes of Haynes. i hope all those that view really appreciate the time and effort that goes into producing such a complete and easy to follow guide, and of course do like and subscribe. My niece has just brought a 2006 mini one that has failed it's MOT on front suspension bushes, so that's my weekend sorted. wish me luck.😉

Hi. I'm happy to say that removing the sub frame from my 2004 R50 was much easier thanks to your instructions. Following this video and your channel helped me immensely. Thank you. Mick

That's great news Mick and thank you for taking the time to message that good news. I work hard to try and cover every detail however small it is.

Thanks for a brilliant video. I had to drop the subframe to change the inner ball joints (I was trying to do the poly 'infamous' bushes in situ but split the inner ball joints in the process!) One thing - I didn't bother removing the crush tube - still take the 10mm bolt out the front to the bumper, but after that they just come off fine attached to the frame.

Great video! I did that last week (as part as gearbox change), and a few notes: - rather than reusing the power steering fluid, it's a good idea to use fresh one to freshen it up a bit, especially if it's that black (it's originally green). While it has no service interval, it should be changed to avoid premature wear on the PS pump (a known weak point). Bonus: steering will be slightly easier (I did a full change a while ago and you can feel the difference, though it's not major) - on LHD, there are a few interesting differences. I did not need to unclip the O2 sensor (either clip was broken off or it's attached differently), and the steering column is on the other side, under the battery box.

Totally agree with you on changing the power steering fluid. I'm a bit bad on things like this to save money but like you say. Saving money can cost you more in the end.

Great vid fella. Need to replace the ‘infamous’ bushes on mine. Would be great to have some indoor space for a couple of days to get them done. Keep going 👍
@CoatsandGaiters3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Paul. I have done a couple of videos on renewing those bushes though it's easier to pop new Poly bushes in I believe. I did it again by dropping the subframe.

How much have you spent on tools over the years Mark. Don't even think of starting a list, it will get scary pretty fast. Another great video. You can tell it's getting colder when the woolly hat comes out. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Neil. Sadly I could give an exact figure lol they are all on an excel spreadsheet haha. Not as much as you might think when you compare to how much a basic new car is. Tools are still working out a lot cheaper. Is getting colder now.
