The Cobb shift stop comes with two sets of nuts to make adjusting easy!! The THINNER nuts are installed FIRST on the OEM reverse shift stop (Adjust reverse shift stop bracket to preferred position and tighten down thin nuts). The THICKER nuts are installed LAST onto the Cobb shift stop (Adjust Cobb shift stop bracket to preferred position then tighten down thicker nuts).
-THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE ALUMINUM STYLE SHIFT STOPS AS IT IS A PAIN TO ADJUST BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!😗👌
After driving for a while using the Perrin shift stop I decided to switch to the Cobb shift stop. Perrin's shift stop and many others are made out of aluminum and do not have near as big of a contact surface as Cobb's design. I noticed the reverse lockout mechanism will pop over the shift stop at times when shifting from 1st to 2nd and it felt awful 😅. Cobb's shift stop is made out of nylon much like the OEM reverse lockout shift stop. I 100% recommend the Cobb shift stop over any other aluminum one 😗👌👌
