Ricochets definitely take a bit of getting used to, it's one of the reasons I prefer outdoor fields.

I've been dipping my toes into airsoft over here in the states recently and it's pretty fun! No where near the level of fun I have in a Nerf match, but still pretty good. Thank you for some good gameplay to satisfy my itch!

It would be cool if you could make a gel blaster or air soft blaster shoot short darts, because they both work around a plunger system!

HeyaCobba, Good video mate... but did I here you correctly, did you say that they fly slower but go futher because of their weight?? I would have to disagree, I have an assortment of Gelsoft blasters, and not one of them has the accuracy or range of Nerf even though they hit 300fps. My Zeus and Longshot platforms, are capable of 250-320fps, and my best Zeus with a Blasterfy Polished Aluminium Scar is now doing 70m flat shots with insane accuracy compared to Gelsoft at 40m+and has a max range of 85m+... Gelsoft really is at its limit for accuracy at 30m with a well dialed in hopup, and if there is a breeze, that will make your shots more unpredictable due to how light the ammo is, while the heavier NERF ammo would be less affected by wind due to being heavier maintaining its accuracy. I would agree that if a NERF blaster was used in a CQB Arena, Gelsoft would win because of the insane amount of ammo a player can carry in comparison, giving the advantage of sustainable high rate of fire that NERF could not compete with. I would have thought that with all your HPA NERF stuff you would have been getting better ranges than with Gelsoft???? Is this what you are comparing it too? We played an outdoor game today in a pretty windy rainy and stormy day, and the Nerf Springers destroyed the Gelsoft at range, but if thet got inside the minimum firing range For the NERF High Powered Springers, and they switched to Nerf SideArms or Flywheels, then the tables turned heavily in favour of GelSoft at that under 20m range. I like Gelsoft because it is a "Run n Gun" style of game with limitless ammo and no darts to collect. But until Airsoft comes into Australia, I will say as a Sniper, I will use NERF through and through. Its NERF OR NOTHING! Gelsoft for Snipers is a waste of time, and totally pointless platform if it has the same range and accuacy of an AEG system. NERF also hits harder at range, so people feel their tags... Blasterfy Scars work wicked on HPA and are way better than the BlasterTech, and I am helping te designer and manufacture of the Scar, a usable suppressor cover that should knock of 6-9db of HPA pop noise. He can make you quieter, and extend your range.

Jayson Smith Hmmmmm 🤔 I 100% agree with some of your points there. I think I may have seen better range due to my hop-up system. The gels would get a second life and then drop of radically. As for at range, I 100% agree tat Dart blasters EXCEL at range. For the gel snipers i think we are only seeing the first of their kind. I’m sure it took airsoft snipers a while to reach a good threshold until they became viable. Curious to see what develops in the coming years for gel.

Really good vid, you and Bradley Phillips seem to be the only ones posting game play. I find it strange how the main nerf channels from the states always bang on about promoting the sport but never actually show any games.

What's been with the lack of videos lately? I assume all your games have been paused, but what about new blasters?

No Nerf games due to the reinstating of COVID rules in QLD. Also trying to cut back on spending as I move home (Cobba all grown up :'( ), also be diligent with mod spending. Another reason was focussing on finishing my degree (all done now though YAY).

Im guessing you live in part of Australia that still allows Gelsort to be played.
