In this ethnographic documentary, anthropologist Mark Neupert explores life at the human-scale in Leiden, the Netherlands, examining how urban planning principles, such as mixed-use, walkability, and public spaces create a good human habitat. Filmed over the course of a year, this film shows modern life in an old urban pattern and looks at the connection between urban design, physical activity and the sense of community.
