Here’s a tip… when using a ‘red dot’ type of sight you keep both eyes open, no need to squint lol. When using a zoomed optic scope then you might want to close one eye helps the brain to focus on the zoomed image. But red dots keep both eyes open so you can see what’s around you.

Bro on the first bold you got the misfire on the back of the bolt was flat, no groove filed in at 90* to the veins. Did I see it correctly? 👍

Nice video. Just a suggestion, for a target you should just use a garbage bag stuffed tight with rags. It has huge stopping power and you won't damage your arrows.

you are right! i was losing every other bolt with the included target i got in my Adder bundle.. i noticed a youtube video saying type 10kg rag pack into ebay it cost me £42 for 4 i just taped a target on the rag pack and even at 10mtrs every bolt shot even with a 200lb plus venom extreme limb and bodkin tips the bolts never go in further than 2 to 3" its saved me a fortune in damaged bolts..

@@antduke2361 the venom is slightly thinner and shorter than the normal EK limbs for the adder, but has more power as it is a mix of fibre glass and carbon fibre.. if you twist each side of the string around 8 times you get around 220lb of power!

@antduke2361 update I've upgraded to the V2 kit. The reinforced longer cocking arm makes it as easy to cock the venom as it did with original EK 190lb limb with the shorter cocking arm. Very impressive power and accuracy 👏 👌

the adder is great but forget getting cheap bolts they as shown can malfuntion and can injur you and damage the magazine! as mentioned in a few coments get a 10kg rag pack from ebay and tape on a target.. you will never damage another bolt! i know this as i have this set up and even at point blank range the bolts go in no further than 2" to 3" since getting a rag pack i have not lost a single bolt.. saved a fortune on damaged bolts..

You may wish to consider getting the 90lb limb for the Adder as opposed to your current standard 130lb limb, as they are easier on the bolts because they wont penetrate as much, they will not go in far enough to damage the veins of the bolts. You then can use a simple archery foam or bag target on its own without having to setup all these different elements. You can then also use the proper EK Archery bolts, because you dont have to worry about damaging them and their cost to replace, and as a result have less miss fires. Also, are you aware that applying heat to the veins (such as from a hair dryer) will straighten them out again if they are crumpled? I know this works on the EK Archery bolts, it may not work on the cheaper orange bolts.

Put a 1/4 inch plywood board about 3 inch in from the front of the target face and this will stop the bolts going straight through . Good honest video pal

you are spot on! i was losing every other bolt on my 30ft range i dropped the limb from 130lbs to 90lbs and was still losing every other bolt shot! i noticed a youtue video saying ebay 10kg rag pack! even with the Adder V2 kit and the 200lb plus venom extreme limb fitted i have not lost a single bolt! the rag pack was £12 and saved me a fortune..

Those orange arrow often jam I think it's because they have too much flex I corrected this by spray painting transparent paint on them.

Just so you know it's illegal to own any weapon for self defense in the UK so I advise you say the only purpose for this crossbow is for archery and target practice never for self defense if you say it for self defense it's then illegal and there take it off you

That string look bad! I think ek knew the adder chews through strings hence the spare one in the box. Do you store your adder in the garage? I do the same. Just wondering if I should bring it in for the winter to save the structural integrity of the crossbow. What do you think?

Thank you mate...unfortunately I'm in the U.K to own an AR 15 is a big NO...that's why I got this crossbow its only legally you can own...but in the Philippines I got an AK 47 hahahaha 😆
