So, you want to start painting with Cobra for the first time. In this video, we suggest these colours that you can use to produce a broad colour spectrum:

Tentatively, we would say yes. The colours that this video suggests have better mixing. Mixing any colour with black will always make it a little bit muddy. If you create your own black like this video suggests (by mixing ultramarine and burned umber) you get a deep and rich black that can lean either towards cool tones or towards warm tones, depending on what you will mix it with. On top of that, lemon yellow is a little more vibrant or "spicy". It will create brighter oranges and greens. I hope this helped!
