Johnny saved Kreese because a big theme of this show is fatherhood. For as bad as Kreese is, Johnny still has a soft spot for him. I have a feeling Kreese dies in th end and Johnny re-opens Cobra Kai, Stingray basically spoon fed us that part.

Personally, I feel like it might’ve been more impactful if Axel had been the one who died. Axel was an innocent bystander in this war between Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai. And I feel like it would’ve shown both schools just out of hand this ‘war’ is getting, and how much it’s just ruining lives. Especially if they see that one kid (Axel) died, and another (Kwon) having his life ruined by possibly going to jail.

This looks long but it really ain't. Title of the episode is, Oon-Jang-doe (English phonetics...or somewhat close. The type of blade that Kreese now carries.) I'll be honest, the AI face for "old Miyagi" may not be great, but the voice was spot on. Remember, not only did Johnny turn Miguel into a badass, and fix his paralysis, he also cured his asthma, AND got Hawk off "The Spectrum." At this point, Johnny is the second coming of Jesus. LOL Pretty sure the reason Kenny forgave Devon so fast, and is willing to follow/fight with her in battle is because he's into her. Bert and Nate (The 2 "tiny kids" at Home) actually DO have "Mad Brawl Experience." Outside of this particular Brawl, I'm fair certain they've been in every other brawl in the show. I'm not saying they'd be any kind of help, but they have the experience. LOL. Remember that Silver came out of nowhere with a kick to Johnny's head back at the original CK Dojo and started beating the hell out of him. Johnny is just returning the favor. No, no, no. Axel went after Kwon because Kwon kicked Sam. (remember, Axel is down BAD for Sam). I don;t think Axel even saw the dagger in Kwon's hand. He just reacted. Axel and Miguel were going toe to toe. Granted, he was knocking Miguel on his ass every other move, but Miguel kept getting back up and getting back into the fight. I kinda wish we had gotten a fist bump between Hawk and Spanish Hawk when they headbutted enemies together. Remember, we still have 5 more episodes. Coming on February 13th. Who the hell knows what will happen.
