Miguel only lost to Robby due to being off balance. Robby has been off balance this whole time after arriving to the tournament and seeing Tori on Cobra Kai. Robby is suppose to be a leader of the team yet he’s not preforming as the leader. A true leader would either step up or give leadership to someone who could better lead the team. Miguel should be captain of the team; he’s been carrying the team up to this point so far and now he’s going back home due to his mother’s health.

It is interesting how the writers have to nerf certain characters at certain times for certain reasons, but definitely it was pretty frustrating to see Robby take so many Ls since he's my favorite character. However, it was pretty awesome to see Daniel kick butt and take names all by himself out there, always nice when they go out of their way to make him and Johnny look like the karate masters that they are at this point in the series. Daniel is my favorite of the adult characters so the last two seasons have been great for his character. I also think it's an interesting detail that he chooses not to worry her by telling her what happened to him. Not only to keep her focused but also to not alarm her, its very dad-ish.
