It's not that it comes out of nowhere, it's just that it doesn't make sense why Tory would rejoin Cobra Kai after all the crap they've done to her, not to mention contradicts her redemption arc in s4-5. There's such a thing as a good plot twist, where you're like "wait what?! That's amazing!" For instance Miyagi's pressure point technique was a great plot twist as it exposes Miyagi's darkest secret and shows even he's not perfect (better than the "former criminal" subplot s6 did, which was badly written in my opinion dude. It completely craps on Miyagi's character and makes him a completely different person than the one we know from the movies and previous seasons). And clearly the writers did that cause they ran out of ideas and wanted to cram in as many stories as possible due to the limited episodes. That's the problem with having fewer episodes, you don't get enough time to truly come up with great storytelling (part 1 is guilty of this). Also, the whole Tory turning against Miyagi-Do was clearly meant to create more drama and because of the god awful writing they're doing, dude.

10/10 for part 1! Absolutely obsessed with this show and this season has not let me down so far. So hyped for part 2. The trailer for season 6 had me a little nervous because I thought the drama and high stakes wouldn’t be there anymore since so many of the characters have made up, but the tension between characters is still there, the fight scenes are so badass, and the last episode was such a rollarcoaster. Can’t wait for part 2. Also, it was so lovely to see Yasmine again. ❤

Think about it for a second, Robby won for the first time against Miguel who was clearly out of it, do you think Miguels arc ends with him losing? And do you think after what Robby saw happened to Tory, do you think his arc ends with him as a winner or someone who realises there's something more important?

@@ldarkllrevanl181 I believe that yeah Robbie will get unfocused and get his caption position taken by Johnny and Daniel but , I do think that either Miguel will get hurt and Robbie will have to fight. I say that because I’ve been watching so many interviews since part one and the director, and writers talk about how it’s the underdogs season. How some characters learn to lose for once and be okay with that etc. (literally basically on quote) They also talk about how much surprises and Turns are gonna take place in part 2. Having Miguel win and Robbie get hurt is so predictable. That’s basically season 1 ending. They also talk about it’s time to see new faces win and show how far they’ve grown over the seasons.

@@isaacmcken7983 I didnt see this Inside The Dojo interview yet. But Ive read someone wrote there is a scene which looks like Tory is in a bar with a guy (I guess Kwan) and Robby sees them. If this is really true, then I think the scene was real and not an imagination or dream. Because I dont think a dream would go so far (into a bar :D).

Karate kid and cobra Kai is all about the unexpected underdog winning the fight...all the other main characters like hawk, Robbi and miquel have all won fights and trophies. Sam isn't going to win...she said as much subconsciously. She said it's not about winning or losing by more about closure

Anyone got any interesting theories. I said this before the season started but i believe it more now. I think we're gonna see some 2v2 fights in the tournament. I also Envisioned the tournament stage to be much bigger. I pictuered something outside. This stage seems smaller than the all valley and theres no audience.

Me too, Hawk lost against Kenny for plot armor like Miguel lost to Robby and Tory's moms death was just said how she said to doctor that her mom was feeling better and making her dinner, she was happy but ended up sadly, we all throught about all that Hawk would destroy to Kenny and lost, we throught that Miguel has never lost fight and he will win this too because this is last season and they made him loose and dirty, when i saw Tory with doc i throught her mom was finally feeling good but she died

Tanner confirmed here more or less Robby is not a good place right now. How could he be? Spoiler alert: Tory chosed Kreese over Robby again like she did in S5. And Robbys heart will be broken. I dont see him doing any good in that tournament. But I think he will be 100% after the tournament when it counts. I think they maybe did this to Tory to set up a love drama for later with her, Robby and a Korean. And this Korean could fall in love with her, but she doesnt return his feelings and goes back to Robby. And then the guy freaks out and fights Robby to the death. So Miguel can shine in the tournament and Robby later, that would be huge for both.
