With season 6 part 1 out, I think the excuse that it’s supposed to be reminiscent of 80s cheese is invalid (also mf Power Rangers got better fights than cobra Kai). The Tang So Do fighters under Kreese actually move like cinematic style martial arts so when we eventually see the main cast vs Kwon and Kwon loses it’s going to look like an ass pull

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched the show. Now I wanna rewatch it to see how well everything aged compared to my first time

I think some of the fights are worse than others. Most of the 2nd tournament fights were garbage due to the egregious slowdown.

The mall fight in season 2 was the worst fight in the entire show

It’s supposed to have that 80s cheese and style to it. I enjoy the style of fighting, it’s changed a lot over the seasons.

to say cobra kai has bad fights like the school fight,house fight, season 4 tournament fight and etc is just a awful take that makes me believe u actually didn't watch the show

Is there another movie or show that has the type of fighting that you would prefer to see in Cobra Kai? After watching the Karate Kid movies, I wasn't expecting the Matrix in this show. The fighting on it is one thousand times better than the movies. I don't know if you've seen the original movies. That may be why you're expecting more from the fighting

@@avace917 Lmao cobra kai calls it “Karate” but it’s just everything thrown together. If you wanna call that lunchroom parkour tray fighting “karate” then go ahead. On top of that, that’s not even what the post is about. The main cast just isn’t good enough to pull off moves very smoothly and it ends up looking kinda awkward

@@pragyeshshrestha3464To be honest with you, I wasn't expecting the fighting to be all that which may be why I'm not disappointed. That doesn't take away from your point though. You're definitely right in that the actors aren't good enough, or at least weren't in the early seasons, to pull off worthy choreography.

All the fights are ridiculous the creators are disgraceful they did Terry silver dirty by ruining his character arc the creators only care about those miyagi do criminals defeating cobra Kai where they are criminals themselves like breaking into the Cobra Kai dojo
