I am of similar age to Ralph and Billy. Saw all of the Karate Kid movies in the movie theater, back in the day. I subscribed to KZbin premium, back when it was KZbin red or something like that, specifically so I could watch Cobra Kai. Just saw the latest installment block of episodes of the final season. And that last one? Wow! Also, congrats to Ralph on getting his star on the Hollywood walk of fame, right next to PatMorita. Perfection.

Why is it sad. The term wearing out it's welcome is a real thing. It technically should have ended at season 5. They beat Cobra Kai and Silver.

@@kmgbully4382 I have. It has its moments, but the character arcs have been done. They are just recycling and rehashing the same solved conflicts. Daniel fighting with Johnny, Miguel and Robby, Demitri and Hawk bickering, etc..Nobody would have complained if it ended last season. Cobra Kai was defeated and the kids all left. Plus they're going to college now and not the same innocent, vulnerable adolescents...

@@luisgarza8636 Same, but at least we got 15 episodes. I think It’s just a cliffhanger. Nobody know if the Sekai Taikai will continue or if Axel will get arrested. It’s just a way to make us fans feel suspenseful.

Open letter to Ralph Macchio and Billy Zabka: the show was better before it took itself seriously. I wish I stopped watching after season 2 ended with a kid fracturing his spine, followed by 3 1/2 seasons of melodrama. The Bad Santa/Eastbound and Down moments with Johnny Lawrence were the good parts of this show for anybody over the age of 20. I don't know who convinced you guys to turn the entirety of this show into Beverly Hills 90210 mixed with Bloodsport but as the skibidi youngins say, tell them to "put the fries in the bag". EDIT: P.S. Bloodsport was not a good movie. It was fun, but it was not good. Cobra Kai was never good, but it was fun. It's like you guys let Stingray write the rest of the show and turn it into embarrassing fan fiction. Nobody wants to see Robby's mom struggle with alcoholism, Tory's mom die of a heart condition, or Miguel's mom have a life-threatening emergency during pregnancy.

I kinda agree. But Netflix wants entertainment and drama to bring the viewers in. That’s what they did really. Then bring back ALL the old timers for the nostalgia to bring in the older generation. It did get a little outlandish in the middle. But this second half of the final season made up for it.

@@Untchbl06 I respect trying to attract a younger audience, but neither of my zoomer younger siblings thought that aspect of the show was any good. On the other hand, my zoomer younger brother loved the Johnny Lawrence comedic moments. As a character, Johnny Lawrence is relatable to pretty much anyone who voted for Trump, at any age. The soap opera drama is only relatable to girls under 18, but not a single girl or young woman in my family, nor any one of their friends watches Cobra Kai, despite Macchio and Zabkas' best efforts. There's just no competing for young girls' attention against teenage werewolves and vampires who sparkle. I think they should just stick to catering to the kind of people who would like the original Bad News Bears, Slap Shot, Goon, Baseketball, Happy Gilmore, Blue Mountain State, or Eastbound and Down. I say "would" because there are a lot of young people who are just now discovering those movies and love them. Hell, Slap Shot is 20 years older than me and it's one of those movies I could watch about 40-50 more times before I die. I say give the faithful what they want!
