Karate Kid II, the one where they go to Mr. Miagi's hometown in Okinawa is my favorite of the original trilogy. I actually have one of those hand drums that they rub between their hands because of that movie :) To my great shame I haven't watch the TV series yet, which is why I'm watching this :) Anywho, Karate Kid II is Definitely a must-see

5:47 That was one of my favorite jokes of the season. You'd expect the 80s dream montage was Johnny's dream, but it was actually Carmen's. 6:38 Funny thing, I was binge-watching this with my wife. When Samantha and her friends appeared in the first episode of the first season, with the slow-motion aisle walk I asked "Is this going to be Karate Mean Girls?", and when the school fight happened at the end of season 2 I said "Oh it iS Karate Mean Girls!" 18:20 I must admit, I groaned at the "Mexico = orange filter" trope 21:20 Also that shot of Chozen and his bloodstains in the form of angel wings? I love how unapologetically corny this series is.
