Reasons why I think miguel will go back to cobra kai: 1) tory is the only "cobra kai" student there. Why would they feel the need to hide the korean cobra kai from the trailer. That wouldn't be much of a surprise factor. 2) the rivalry between axel and miguel. If p3 would strictly be the semis and finals of the ST. Why establish a rivalry that would lead into p3 for and considering it's only 5 episodes. 3) if robby does beat axel and heads to the final who would he face 💀 idt you can give the runner up of the 1st boys semis and it would make sense cobra kai would need a new fighter so that's where miguel can go in but idt it will be him vs robby. 4) the subtle shot of the american cobra kai logo on what looks like on a person walking. I've never seen that image anywhere from s1-s6 and definitely not in karate kid 1-4. So that can be a new shot from p3 or a hint at what's to come in p3

Not sure this will mean anything but in episode 502 Hector's fighter is referred to as Vincente "the wolf" Gonzalez. I wonder if the nickname is associated with sensei wolf as both are shown to be MMA type performers along with karate of course for sensei wolf. Maybe a crazy coincidence, but if hector does return in part 3, i am thinking the series will use an association with sensei wolf to make it happen

That’s not true. In tournaments the farther you go the more points each event are worth. Miyagi Do was listed in fourth place before Robby vs Axle because every team besides Miyagi Do has fought. Had Sam beat Tory, they would’ve skyrocketed into 2nd place. The Spanish team lost both fights they’d definitely be in last.

Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do will be partner dojos as the series ends with the kids helping out both dojos as part time and full time instructors depending on their future commitments such as college. Side note, Johnny and Carmen's wedding will serve as an opportunity for cameos for many of the characters, minor and major to have one last goodbye for the camera. I'm sad for Johnny and Miguel. I started watching because of them and now it seems like its not about Cobra Kai but Daniel. IMO Johnny is being overshadowed by Daniel. Johnny and all his students should have returned to Cobra Kai. Johnny and Barnes would have been perfect since they needed to revamp themselves and the Cobra Kai name. Miguel in my opinion has been shoved to the back. Miguel is more centered now but he doesn't seem to be as hungry anymore. He's dropped out of the last tournament and now he's playing background again this season. Its like I'm getting crumbs showing how dominate he can be but then something happens that pulls him away again. I need this show to end of a high note for Johnny and Miguel.
