Hawk’s USA Mohawk looks very cool!!

Kenny has grown up a lot. In season 4, he was much smaller than Hawk. Now, he looks to be taller than Hawk. Also, in his promo, Kenny's voice is really deep. He sounds completely different than he did last season.

There is also a Mike Barnes short video of him teaching in the dojo. He says that the Sekai Taikai is really intense and even had some deaths.

Apparently, Mike Barnes will play a significant part in season 6. He will be a sensei and he seems to know a lot about the Sekai Taikai tournament, according to the new Mike Barnes video. In that video, he adamantly insists that he will teach his way when Daniel disputes Mike Barnes' methods. It appears Daniel will have to acquiesce or compromise in order to get Barnes' help.

Hawk's USA mohawk signals that the season will deal with international competition. USA and Korea and Japan (and perhaps other countries) will all be featured, similar to how Rocky 4 had elements of USA and Russia in the backdrop. The Sekai Taikai will have global impact. Should be a great season!

I think the argument Daniel and Johnny have concerns whether or not to let Mike Barnes become a sensei. Mike Barnes is more like Johnny, so Daniel is reluctant to let him be a sensei. Johnny likes Mike Barnes' style and aggressiveness, so there is some disagreement there, but I don't think it will be a big thing. The writers know that the big beef between Daniel and Johnny is over. There will be times of tension since they are both so different, but I wouldn't worry about the show rehashing their conflict. But like married couples, there will of course be some disagreements from time to time.
