Cobra at Conny-Land is a one-of-a-kind shuttle roller coaster from Pax. This crazy ride starts with a beyond-vertical backwards lift, features a super circular vertical loop, and terrifying inverted spike. The PAX Company as a whole could use more appreciation. They made some crazy rides like the Wild Mice, Wild Train, Cobra, and those weird single rail shuttle coasters.

I find it funny that despite Intamin and B&M being from Switzerland, neither companies have made a coaster in Switzerland, but instead their best coaster is a Russian creation

My family lives in Switzerland and during the summer of 2021 I visited Conny-Land twice! I found this coaster to be surprisingly intense and with a really good drop as well. I wish it was smoother but its still a pretty fun ride. I am curious to see if you had a similar experience riding this really bizzare coaster.

I only found 2 spots shaky, but at least there was no headbanging because of the restraints.

They’ve added additional track to the scorpion tail and it appears it runs faster on the backwards run and isn’t slowed by the brakes as much

With the extra track, it can go higher up the tower, hence the extra speed.

WowSers!!! Pax has some cool stuff. I'd seen them @ IAAPA before. A very unique "shuttle loop" with an airtime hill b4 the loop. I got to run a Schwarzkopf Shuttle loop type 2. Great view of mid-way & water ride.
