The Blackhawk is the matching humbucker for these, if you’re after a consistent tone all round. Otherwise, it’s entirely up to you. What I will say is that the Blackhawk has incredible clarity even with high gain sounds

I wind pickups myself. I went looking around and found Bare Knuckle. I've been hearing a lot about them. The prices are ridiculous. I can't see what makes them cost any more than the ones I can wind myself or standard inexpensive pickups from the major brands. Why are bare knuckle products so much more expensive than everyone else?

The huge amount of return custom that we have seen over our 20+ years in business is testament to how effective that ethos of building bespoke pickups in a completely uncompromising way has proved to be. The Cobra singlecoil set is actually a great example, as I don't believe that anyone else is making a comparable set. We are the only people making the heat-treated blades and constructing a singlecoil pickup in the particular way that those are built.
