Found your video through searching about Helpdesk jobs and how to write a resume for one. Really enjoyed your detailed analysis! Question for you, I have been working for a food delivery company for the last four years as an independent contractor and I feel like a lot of skills are related to the job but I am unsure of how to best talk about them. How would you recommend tailoring this on a resume to fit what helpdesk jobs would be looking for?

Hello. You can talk about customer service as the main skills from that job. That should help getting the job. You can say "Acquired essential customer service skills at so and so job".

Great stuff. Question for you. What you think about technical support representative job. If it doesn't really have u troubleshoot computer per se instead u troubleshoot consumer tech device and/or just doing customer service. Does these types of job help me to get a it support job?

Thanks. Yes, that counts as relevant experience. That type of experience would get you a Help Desk job. With that type of experience all they have to do is train you how to use basic Help Desk tools and you are good to go. I hope that helps. Good luck.

I would put down any training you've received. Even if it's self thought. Anything that you are confident about you can list as experience. So, if they ask you about you can still answer any questions.
