Anyone notice how happy Cobus was when he played this song-all the smiles, singing of the lyrics, and constant head banging throughout (so much that his headphones almost fell off). There is just something about Christian music that makes you feel so humble and happy either playing or listening to it. God is so amazing and I'm glad to see Cobus worshiping him! Due to my upbringing, I used to be super religious and while I like ALL your covers, I remember finding these especially dope. It's been about a decade. I grew up and have since let go of my faith. I am a Christian, but I typically don’t really like CCM because it just seems bland to me. I know people will call me a heretic, but to me it seems that most CCM artists purposely dumb down the instrumentals in their music to put greater emphasis on the vocals. As someone who has more of an ear for instrumentals in music, I wish the guitarists/drummers/etc. would just let loose like this. I honestly think it’s more worshipful to hear the incredible talent that God has blessed someone like this with.
