As with the previous praise+worship songs I released, my intentions are VERY much the same. Recording praise music to entertain doesnt make sense in my mind, so my intention was to honestly and sincerely WORSHIP.. coincidentally just with some cameras present :)
I want to state though, I don't want my faith or me living it out to build walls around ANYTHING or to exclude ANYBODY. I'll never shove it down anybody's throat or disrepesct beliefs different than my own, and I also expect the same from those watching this video.

Anyone notice how happy Cobus was when he played this song-all the smiles, singing of the lyrics, and constant head banging throughout (so much that his headphones almost fell off). There is just something about Christian music that makes you feel so humble and happy either playing or listening to it. God is so amazing and I'm glad to see Cobus worshiping him! Truely inspiring for us all!

I am a Christian, but I typically don’t really like CCM because it just seems bland to me. I know people will call me a heretic, but to me it seems that most CCM artists purposely dumb down the instrumentals in their music to put greater emphasis on the vocals. As someone who has more of an ear for instrumentals in music, I wish the guitarists/drummers/etc. would just let loose like this. I honestly think it’s more worshipful to hear the incredible talent that God has blessed someone like this with.

Was looking through my old KZbin playlists and I found this in a playlist with 3 other Christian song covers. Due to my upbringing, I used to be super religious and while I like ALL your covers, I remember finding these especially dope. It's been about a decade. I grew up and have since let go of my faith. Why has religon caused so many wars? Religon doesnt answer prayers, religon has no meaning to life. But FAITH in our Lord Jesus christ can, he can rebuke havok, and bring peace to this world, but NOBODY is letting Jesus do it, this is where human pride comes in because they think they can do it in there own strength, but we have to let God come into our Pride and start being humble to him.

It's 4 flams. A flam, if you don't know, is two drum strokes played by alternate hands, it's supposed to sound close to hitting them at the same time, but still off so you can easily hear both strokes. The first of the two is on the floor tom, the second of the two is on the tom, after 4 flame you hit the slightly opened hi hat then crash.
