I just had the zero sugar cherry 1 of these the day before yesterday w/my meal, it was awesome to me! it's pretty much 85-90% like just having the regular coke zero cherry imo but that subtle kick of energy drink intensity or fizz.. similar to the Bang energy drinks imo. anyways nice reviews. personally, I'd say I'd buy it again. it's really enjoyable with a meal, in my experience.

our krogers here had them on sale for $2 a can plus the 2 new flavors of mtn. dew amp game fuel zero. I got all the 4 cokes and the 2 mtn. dew. 114mg of caffeine is not high. now if you get sunup coffee or deathwish coffee then you'll looking at close to 300mg a can.

Now this is what I find interesting; these "energy drinks" have the same caffeine as the new Mountain Dew Zero Sugar. When I saw your review, I tried it, and now it is one of my favorite pops!! However, I have to be careful because I do get sick and affected by caffeine. You think these would have more caffeine.

caffeine also doesn't really do anything to me either Tami.. I mean I've drunk energy drinks just for the flavors alone and hope I find one that is really tasty lol. I've also had energy drinks with 300mg of caffeine like an hour before I hit the hay/went to sleep, no problems. some of us are just diff I guess in terms of how intensely our bodies/brain etc react to caffeine. but personally, I don't feel any special jolt either.

I think caffeine has a placebo effect on some people. I always buy the zero calorie over the original because I don't like to drink my calories. You get used to it. It sounds like you are the same way.

@@TamiDunn I agree it could just be a placebo affect on folks, but sometimes it just strongly affects them and not us: case in point, my older brother. he HAS to opt for like let's say the diet sodas etc that are caffeine free b/c it messes w/his anxiety issues bigtime. Me, thxfully I don't have to worry about that. and yes I don't like to ever drink my calories/sugars/carbs either Tami. I'll make exception if it has 5-10 calories tops in like a 16oz etc but it better have no calories/sugar/carbs either! that's just me.

Were they are room temperature or from the fridge? Usually energy drinks have a better taste when cold.
