@@Modernaire i am not denying the fact that editors are artists, i should have specified that. nor am i denying there are people that were at play in making the ad. i’m just saying that i don’t know what other root reason there could be to even want to make an ai commmercial (that could never be better than a human made commercial anyway, since humans can create original ideas and understand the world in a way ai cannot) other than greed and laziness. yes there was some amount of human work involved in the making of it, but really it was nothing compared to how you would actually put work into a normal ad. and i do not think that sitting at a computer and typing prompts, (which is telling a computer to make something for you, NOT you actually making it yourself) is comparable to actually creating art. i also do not think the work of CGI artists is at all comparable to that of AI.
@Modernaire2 ай бұрын
@ at at least you’re engaging in an intelligent debate conversation. Others don’t do that so I appreciate that. But some greed is what fuels the economy it fuels seeking earning more as you progress in your profession or trade. Businesses are created, small medium, and large mega corporations because it’s always a pursuit of profits and wealth. So there’s some greed that is beneficial it is positive and is OK to have. You always want more of something that’s special or that could bring about less worry, financial stability more profits, which lead to hiring more people and some of which might be creative or artists. As far as laziness, I don’t think Coca-Cola is lazy. They wouldn’t be the giant company. It was if it were lazy. in fact, the drink was initially promoted as a health pepper energy booster of some kind. That’s why it had cocaine. For actual work in an advertisement or commercial think about it it would take probably 1 billion give or take to produce the exact same results of this AI Coca-Cola commercial with real life, actors and actresses, extras, trucking equipment, lighting equipment, special effects, analog, lighting, rigging camera, teams, camera, cruise production teams The logistics would be through the roof and not to mention the use of animals where you would have to bring animal experts with animals and repeatedly try to make them do what the Director who has a creative artistic vision wants them to do. No one complains about all the exploitation of pets and animals you know when they blow dry their hair and they’re putting them in dresses, etc.. You know what I mean nobody complains about that, they use animals you’d probably or others would probably be complaining about that Anyways, I’m kind of deviating, but I’m just saying and pointing out that it would be a monumental task allows for an endless possibilities of creativity. Most AI imagery is not great. Yes it’s night marriage. Yes it’s over the top. Yes, it’s fantastic. Yes, it’s sometimes put mistakes all over the place. I wonky you know what I mean multiple legs on a human body. You know that kind of thing is just gets weird. But the human intelligent or what modifying the prompts is what matters because as an artist in between, I’ll repeat it in between is taken over by AI tools And again in any kind of creative endeavor, you input into an object, whether it be a computer or an acoustic piano, and the output is your creative the mechanism that facilitates the input and the output with AI generative tools, is artificial it’s kind of doing the intricate work to achieve that is that efficient it could be One last example, motion, graphic artist, they may be their days may be numbered. I know of a certain sector of them who think they’re above all creatives and all they are are tweaking parameters and some of them aren’t artists or very creative at all. AI will facilitate , an input of what you want in motion graphics and the output will be made which then you could possibly go back and tweak some of those parameters or leave as is and do post production to it It’s the same with music production today we have non-musicians non-artist people who have no business handling, even a digital photography camera or even doing fashion design. Let’s be real about it, I know it’s because I’m a professional I’ve seen it all, who have no business doing creative work. And what facilitates is Contant creating software such as music, production software digital audio workstations the gear that just allows them to tap a few pads and construct music. But nobody complains about people who have artistic and or ability or natural talent skills, who are involved in a creative process and should not be

@@baymax2000 AI robots were programmed that way, but they don't have biological souls. Only God creates souls, AI is made of wiring. I know that there are so many AI related jobs, it still doesn't mean that they have souls. They don't have souls. Like I said, AI robots will become very advanced. AI robots will help doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists a lot (they will replace many types of jobs also) because AI will eventually perhaps become hundreds or thousands of times more intelligent than even the most intelligent humans. I remember an expert saying that the intelligence level of AI in the future will be like this. AI will also be able to feel and they will have emotions and like I said, they will even look near identical to humans. That still doesn't mean that they have souls. You and I have a different opinion on what a soul is, maybe. In my opinion, only God creates souls. I think reincarnation could be real, so when people die, I think their souls leave their bodies and, dependent on whether the person has good karma or bad karma, they get reincarnated accordingly. That's why I think some Near Death experiences have an out-of-body experience, it's because the person's soul left their body I think. I think that's also why some people think they remember their past lives. Artists and philosophers and others have described this soul for centuries I think, it's like an essence of a biological macroorganism that leaves the material body after the person dies. Plants and animals were given the soul by God perhaps. AI robots are man-made, humans can't create souls. To create a soul takes a lot of intelligence I think, more than what humans are currently capable of. The theory is that the soul is the real human being, not the flesh...that material body is not the real person. So the theory says that the brain, the bones, the muscles, the organs, the material part of the body isn't what really makes a person, it's the soul that is apparently the most important but the soul is invisible and unknown currently in science. AI robots have electricity and wiring and a complex neural network and algorithms and stuff, but there is no God-created soul in an AI.

Man it's hard to watch these news reporters so out of touch that they can't tell that it's AI without looking at the people. I could tell immediately, the way all the illustrations move, the finer details on them, the backgrounds that look like blended up "winter" ideas. Everything looks very obviously AI to me. I find it insulting, that Coca-Cola can't even be bothered to hire real animators or others to make a real advertisement for consumers. This is by far the cheapest, and laziest, way to make a commercial, and it's disappointing because I love Coca-Cola and their products. I wish corporations weren't so greedy these days, but the longer people do and say nothing about it, the worse it'll get. They even said "this probably won't have an effect on the drink people choose at the store" and that's true, it definitely won't, and because of that Coca-Cola won't have any incentive to change their approach to AI.

The perspectives are wrong, especially when the trucks "slide" on the road at the wrong angle or when the animals turn their heads. The lighting doesn't match people's head and clothes several times. All other uses of AI make creative efforts meaningless and ignoble though; a large reason why we revere art for example is because we know how hard it was to create it; someone honed their skills, dedicated their life to the craft etc... If everyone can just type in an AI prompt then art is no longer noble anymore; a big part of nobility is pushing the boundaries. Real art should never be "easy."
