I understand why you think Pepsi would be the better match, and I agree, but also think it's part of the reason this is "spiced" to help it work a bit better with Coke. Thanks! I bought it on the Coke website! It's one of my favorites

Out of all of the different newly released sodas this year this is my favorite. I wouldn't have tried it if someone at work didn't give me a can to try. It was zero sugar but I tried it anyways. Only after my first sip did I realize it was raspberry. It's not that clearly stated on the package. I'm glad it is not limited edition. Although I've seen less and less in stock at local stores lately.

@@TheSodaJerk maybe cause its marketed more as "spiced" than raspberry? Also forgot to add to what someone else said about the California raspberry flavor that was in the glass bottle a few years ago. I liked that in the bottle just a touch better than this but both are still a 10/10 for me.

No, I believe that is a different line of soda for them. Looking it up now, that appears to be straight raspberry (British Columbia Raspberry to be exact) which wouldn't have the spice.

I may have said this before, but that t-shirt is the greatest. I felt the same way. I don't think I'd go out of my way to get either again, but I found the full sugar to be a bit much and the zero sugar was much more muted. I could barely detect the *checks notes* "herbal burst" on the Zero.

Thanks! You can buy it in the official Coke store. Yeah, it's a pretty safe entry which makes sense since it's going to be permanent.

In the Zero Sugar version, I'm getting mostly Raspberry and Cinnamon flavors, with Cola on the back-end. It's pretty good!

I was too scared to try it. The "Spiced" part sounded gross. Reviews seem to be polarizing, so I'm good not trying it. Supposedly, sold really bad. They were giving it away at a store I went to earlier in the month.

Name alone... I agree with you. I think spiced I think mulled cider and things like that. Taste wise... doesn't hit the Christmas vibe.

Clearly raspberry isn't my flavor, I didn't love the coke zero version of this and I really like coke zero. I was hoping for more of a Christmas type spice with a little cinnamon and a hint of ginger to give it some bite. Hope that others enjoy this more than I did!!

Trademark Herbal Burst. Glad that the Zero is tolerable. For those of us that can't do sugared soda its nice to know i'll chase this down. Did you try it over ice later? Curious how it changes the profile.

I just tried this yesterday. I don’t care for this flavor at all. Tasted like a bad attempt at Christmas themed soda. I tasted something like nutmeg or what have you. It kinda reminds me of mulled cider. Not the best, but not the worst Coke (that dishonor goes to either Lenon or New Coke). I remember New Coke. Now that was an utter failure.

I think the most disappointing thing is that it seems like they played it safe. I think that introducing Starlight (their first creations attempt) as a full time flavor would have hit harder

The "spiced" is short for weak garbage flavors poorly mixed. 😂 I absolutely couldn't stand "spiced," but power on if you can talk yourself into enjoying this shambles of a "flavor"

That side of the mic is facing a window to the outside, so any flash may be due to that. Plus the focus on the camera sometimes causes it.
