Peter Kingsberry is a master songwriter. His lyrics and melodies wrapped in beautiful orchestrated arrangements are amazingly touching. He also has a great eye and ear for talent. Anna Lacazio is the perfect muse for his voice and the drama of his songs, and she was a doll, I couldn't take my eyes off her.The guitar work by Clive Wright is spectacular, his fills are so sonic and heavenly and sound like no one else. Cock Robin music is timeless, it's as beautiful and pleasing today as it was forty years ago.

"The Promise You Made" bereikte in 1986 de eerste positie in de Top 40 en zou het in totaal 13 weken uithouden. Het zou hun grootste hit blijven. De formatie bestaande uit Peter Kingsberry, Anna LaCazio, Clive Wright en Lou Molino III wordt in 1990 opgedoekt waarna Kingsberry naar Frankrijk verhuist. In 2006 werd de groep door Kingsberry en LaCazio heropgericht, echter zonder gitarist Wright en drummer Molino. In 2015 verlaat LaCazio de groep definitief. Zij wordt vervangen door de Franse zangeres Coralie Vuillemin. Het laatste album van Cock Robin stamt uit 2016 en heet "Chinese Driver"

I can see all instruments being played exactly as they sound if they were played like that (and I can play all of them to a degree myself, except drums), and I cannot see any mistakes that happen with lipsync performances either.
