He opened up and was a little more vocal this second time around 😄 but for now Gotcha did most of the talking 😉 lol.

❗️❗️❗️85% of parrots are either resold, given away, or abandoned within just 2 short years of being purchased.
I cannot stress enough how heartbreaking this sad truth is.... Too many people impulse buy parrots because of cute or funny traits they'vet seen in other birds.
A life stuck in a cage is cruel and so unfair to these magnificent beautiful creatures.
They deserve the absolute best!
So if you are interested in a parrot, adopt one because you have the time and energy and if you want to save them from a life stuck behind bars, not solely because they are cute or funny etc.
parrots are a LIFETIME commitment. They can live up to 80+ years!!
I've given up many many things the to give my two parrots the best life they can possibly have!
Please do your research before adopting.
After all, we have our friends, our jobs, and our hobbies.
They only have us💗❗️❗️

in the wild they normally have mates or live in flocks, cockatoos are pretty social animals and dont like to be left alone long even in captivity. It stresses them which leads to plucking or screaming, it can make them sick. So birdy friends are a plus :) (edit:) i just noticed its been a year this was made lol

The most common color is white, but many varieties exist. If you do a search on cockatoo varieties, you'll see that they even cone in black!

Here's a list of some cockatoos and their coloring. ☺️ Moluccan: pinkish, peachy, salmon coloring with a bright orange/salmon crest and yellow under wings Umbrella: white with yellow under wings Black Palm: black with red on face Rose breasted: white with rosy pink Citron: white with yellow crest And on and on lol. The cockatoo species list is quite large!

It'sJustMeHun they pick it up from simple hearing conversations. Different cockatoos learn faster and are more talkative than others.
