If you were in a car accident, and someone broadsided you, (or whatever) that darling bird could get killed or seriously injured….or possibly escape from the car and then get hit, stolen, or run away. Think of the 😢😢😢 POWER OF A DEPLOYED AIRBAG!!! 😢😢😢 That blast has killed improperly restrained children and has killed many kinds of pets riding like Joseph! You may be unable to help him! You wear a seatbelt, but yet your most prized possession is not secured in anyway??? I’m a bird mom for 32 years, but also an ER nurse. You wouldn’t believe what I’ve seen happen to people making a quick store run, thinking they’d return right home. I’m not judging you, but I am trying to warn you of the dangers of a loose bird in a moving vehicle. It takes only one careless driver to shatter your life and Joseph’s! Put him in a carrier, thread the seatbelt throw the handle, then click it in place. And honestly, the backseat is safer. ❤❤❤

What a beautiful best friendship. All human beings should treat animals as well as you take care of and interact with Joseph. My one concern is that Joseph’s perch is a round dowel. I didn’t see it very well, but, for the sake of his feet, I hope he has Manzanita perches. He probably does, because he has such a good owner-companion. (I was also touched by the gas station attendant’s appreciation and enjoyment of Joseph and how you and Joseph relate to each other across species.)

Up until last year, Oregon had only full service gas stations. Well, they pumped your gas. Seemed to me the females did the windows, too, but rarely the men. Now it’s 50/50, but I prefer them to do it, and I tip them $5.00.
