That dog was so old it could barely stand up. Surely a dignified end for it would be a loving home until it passed away. I had a golden cocker spaniel that was noble and long suffering in temperament. Towards the end of her life she experienced paralysis in her back legs and double incontinence. The vet said the kindest thing we could do was to put her down. I held her as she passed away and carried her body to the car wrapped in a blanket. We buried her in the garden. She taught me everything I needed to know about patience and tolerance. My father broke down in the vets and couldn’t face the awful truth. It was the only time I ever saw him cry. This video saddened me how this little dog suffered from old age. I have never had a dog since 1981 and never wanted another one. Pets teach us how to be kind and loving. It breaks my heart to see the suffering in this one’s eyes but gratified he is more comfortable.

I hope they recommend it to their owner that the dog needs to see a veterinarian. They probably need to change his food. Looks like allergies possibly to the grass sweet dog though.

Cockers are fraught with allergies and skin issues.
