i belive they are lcd or liquid crystal dispay avionics,multifunction displays primary flight dispays ect.older aircraft used crt or cathion ray tubes.

260 knots cruise speed..isnt that a bit too low...

at crusing altitude you use mach speeds, in this case it was .80, so the speed in kts seemed slow however it was .80, at airport level 260 kts would be less than half the speed in mach. its a bit confusing
