I met the flight attendant on the right at the end of the video! He was so friendly and arranged for me to sit in the cockpit for over an hour with the pilots! Props to him and everyone at Norwegian.

I've just returned from longyearbyen with norwegin air. We left Oslo at 10:30 pm night and arrived in longyearbyen 2 am in full daylight. The norwegian flightccrew even took poses of each other outside the svalbard polar bear pole. Sort of reminds you that you have travelled to a very special place.

I have flown to Svalbard with Norwegian in the midnight sun. We took from a dark Oslo and it gradually got lighter and lighter as we approached Svalbard. Amazing experience and the crew left the airport to take photographs. That's how special Svalbard is.

Yes! Fabulous video, Justplanes! I see it takes 8 weeks from filming to completion. Looks like a nice one to have in Blu Ray awesomeness. I am having a laugh about the ending. Someone says "It's cold outside!" and the one guy, clutching his chest as if to ward off a heart attack, says "Brrr! I came from Africa yesterday!" Beautiful.

This video reminds me of the time I spent flying helicopters out of Thule AFB in Greenland in 1953, and in support of scientific research on Greenland's Icecap - summertime daylight only. We had to put on sun block to prevent sunburn and left this Arctic region with a good tan and valuable lessons learned about flying in the Arctic.

I have been here myself (Hardest landing i ever experienced) And Svaldbard is an absolutley amazing place, its like a different world. The mountains on svalbard are about as old as the world, I highly recommend everyone to go there at aleast once.

SVG (Sola) is even more better than OSL, i live near SVG and is spotter there, we have C130 from many countries, C17, C5, NATO E-3 AWACS, E-3, 747 Air Force, and much more...

Sergey Rambo It's because Norwegian fly both the 737-300 and the 737-800. The -800 is longer, so the PNF calls out 'long body' to remind the PF that it's an 800, not a 300. I questioned it myself at first as well.
