Hi, I am building a machine like yours. I am interested in how you dispensed the soda water. Are you using live carbonation or are you a pump. I am having a hard time finding food grade pumps and solenoid valves.

Marlow Dupont I haven't looked in a while. For syrups, I am using peristaltic pumps (with proper tubing). I was afraid with soda water, the pump would destroy the carbonation bubbles, but I haven't tried that yet.

Jason Philippi For the syrups I use simple impeller pumps (used by cars for spraying windshields) And for the carbonated drinks I do something else for the reason you specified. I 3d printed an special Air cap for cola bottles, through this air-cap I pressurize the bottles with external CO2. I then use an solenoid to pour out the carbonated drinks.

how does your machine not drip fluids?

By placing the valves as close as possible to the Cup. There are some fluids which do behave badly, for example orange juice( unfiltered )

understood. but what I mean is dripping after your cup leaves the position.

Like I told you , the valve is pretty close to the endpoint. So any fluid left after closing the valve quickly drips down, additionally I also set a minor wait time before the move of the Cup.
