I would like to see a tournament with no fish locaters sonar for seeing the lake bottom,an old fashion tournament with no electric but the motor ,see if they have the fishing skills like our fathers and grandfather's did, also no prefishing the lake, just pull-up the day of the tournament.

@@FattDabzz4200 you obviously have never fished with a fish finder. It only tells you whats under your transducer. I don't know if you noticed, but most of the fishing pros do is sight fishing, as long as the water is clear. Polarized glasses catch as many fish as fish finders in clear water.

My favorite also except the bugs you may already know unlike day fishing with lures, DO NOT try to set the hook when you hear the strike, gently tighten your line be prepared to set the hook almost like live bait, if you feel anything. If not just leave the lure alone for a couple minutes then a gentle twitch, wait again, the fish is usually right under your lure looking up at it, from underneath at night the surface looks like chrome & your lure is black no matter what color it is so remember don't try to set the hook unless you feel resistance, like fishing live bait

They were also drinking and tossing their bottles into the water. I kept my distance. I definitely understand that some people don't think like we do or have the same morals. Back in 2000 i had an incident but my incident involved me getting my ass beat my gear tossed in the river and my boat damaged the repairs to the boat cost more than the boat is worth (8ft elgin all fiberglass) When it comes to people and altercations in remote places its better to just walk away and come back another day My incident would have ended a lot differently if i had been able to get to the sawed off shotgun in the cab Of my truck

I've heard this line from locals before. I show up to a Southern Lake in my nice bass boat, catch a lot of bass and then, occasionally, some local comes up and talks to me in a "kidding" around kind of passive-aggressive way. Especially since I'm a yankee lol. Still, best bass fishing is in the South. Also, Southern people for the most part are the nicest in the country ... except for the occasional jerk.

I run ionic lithium and love them. But higher voltage doesn't give you a cleaner or better images on livescope. The blackbox regulates the voltage so it doesnt matter if you are running 12v to 32volts. The only time when you can see a improvement with running higher voltage is if your wiring is to small, And that is because higher voltage draws less amps.

It was 91 at 2 AM the other night. 111 here last week and triple digits almost every day for months. 102 inside my home now. I’m 60 and don’t even run AC in Texas in a metal roof mobile home with no shade trees. I installed HVAC most of my life in hot Texas attics. That’ll kick your ass working in a 160 attic all day. My old truck has no AC.

@@dne3142 I dread every summer. I hate the heat. The people who say they like Texas summer have a job in the AC and pay expensive electric bills to stay cool. Let them live and work with me for a month and see if they still like it. It’s the humid days I hate. If humidity is low it’s not that bad. When your cloths are soaked in sweat it pretty much sucks. I’ll take 100 degrees with very low humidity over a 85 degree day with 90% humidity.

lol amped outdoors lithium has been making 14.8 volt batteries specifically made to run livescope for a few years now they have a working voltage of 16.8 when fully charged and 12v when fully depleted so no low voltage poor returns

I get that guys perspective, and empathize because one of our local lakes are overrun with out of state people who are catching over the limits and likely taking the fish home to sell. The populations have gone down, but they still find the crappie using live scope, and that’s something that a lot of local people just can’t afford. At the end of the day, it’s a public lake. As long as you’re not doing anything Illegal or disrespecting people there isn’t really much he can say.
