Crippling Depression

Күн бұрын

If you've been following Coco and the crew recently you'll probably know that they've been looking to move into a temporary Hololive house. Kanata, Suisei, and Coco here. And the other day they went to go look at one of the possible places and Coco quite liked it. After displaying interest, she comes across something rather interesting. I don't follow too much of KZbin outside of Hololive lately so I don't know the kinds of people they're referring to, but I thought this was interesting enough to share nonetheless.
This ain't no literal translation, I'm just conveying the gist of what's being said. Coco doesn't seem to get that many subbed clips for all the interesting things she says, is what I usually say but recently I've seen more and more Coco stuff pop up in my feed.
If you understand the gist of Japanese, I highly recommend you buy a membership to her channel. She recently released a few goodies such as an ASMR sample and some images. I haven't seen a full thing yet, but I think she might have some natural talent at it.

well, I don't know how her contract with Holo live works, and thus whether she is consider an employee, an associate, an independent contractor, etc, but if she receives a paycheck from them she could just tell the landlords "I am a video producer for Cover corp, we make entertainment videos revolving about music and video games" she doesn't even have to mention she appears in the video herself. Didn't know she had advanced that much in her plans for moving out, good for her and thanks for sharing this pal

Yeah I agree. Especially since they're part of a corporation, they can definitely dress it up like it's something more professional. Social and Interactive Media Specialist or something lol. I imagine it's not looked highly upon in certain parts of America or the western world either... "Get a real job" they say Fuck off, not my fault you'd rather work a typical 9-5, in a field you're probably miserable in, and then be proud of it for some reason. And, like Coco said it's not like there's many jobs you can get by without working very hard in someway anyways. Either way, like Coco said it's probably just some dumb shits who make their profession look bad, but it suck they gotta deal with stigma despite working very hard in their careers.

this is what happen on Pewdiepie as well, he can't buy a house there since he's 'youtuber'... KZbinrs always treated quite 'harsh' on Japan, they didn't consider youtubers as a 'occupation' or Job on there... after what happened where certain youtubers creating 'chaos' on there... they always think all youtubers is just bunch of barbarians.... Pewds now already got a house on Japan, he probably telling them that he's designer (Tsuki), and not as 'youtuber'.... She said they were "streamers". Not "KZbinrs". The bias has nothing to do with the Logan Paul incident which wasn't even a major incident for japan. Only really KZbin. The issue with streamers/youtubers that these companies have is they know our revenue isn't realiable compared to "regular" jobs and they want to ensure streamers can afford to pay rent for at least 6 months with no issues as well as be making a fair amount of money. Still not right as you need 3x-6x more money than the regular person.
