I wish these white chicks would speak up and acknowledge how wrong it is. But, no. There is silence. I'm thinking about the children that went through four rounds of auditions, put in real work to try to get the part, get to the final round - all to not get it at all and to now find out why. What was the point then? What lesson does that teach kids? That anyone with money and fame is more important that your actual talent, time, work, and patience? As a kid, I would feel so defeated. Kim not only embarrassed her daughter, but she did each of the children wrong. She should be ashamed of herself.

It might be because she's doing her actual job. Someone broke this down and explain that because each guest has a limited time slot of let's say 60 to 30 seconds on the red carpet (adding up to nearly 2 hours in total), the security might have to become the bad guys and hurry them up.

😔 It makes me sad that you could see Kelly looked like she wanted to cry. But if it wasn’t for the Cannes film festival authorities allowing that French woman to keep her racist attack against women of colours, people would still be painting the narrative that Kelly was being a difficult diva. If at least one White celebrity would’ve spoken out, the Cannes representatives would’ve put out a statement but everyone is silent because they don’t value people of colour at all.
@jonathancineus64244 ай бұрын
😳 Everybody knew North West was bad except for her, and it’s a shame for the production… but it’s also setting up a dangerous precedent that she’ll get whatever she wants in the industry. It’s extremely unfair to the talented children who worked hard but got overlooked because of the clout that Kim and Kanye have.

I don’t think any grown adult is hating on the lil girl, it’s the mother that’s the problem. She doesn’t realize how much of a problem she’s going to have out of her daughter in the future moving the way she is. I think her goal is to raise an entitled child turned entitled adult. If I was a billionaire, I would still teach my daughter the value of earning her spot, not just buy every damn thing. I don’t do spoiled kids. Mine is now grown, humble, selfless, skilled, resilient and still successful in the things she does. Never looking for handouts.

People so use to every word or sentence having a deeper meaning towards another artist, they can't discern when something is JUST a complement or a simple tweet. Social media has turn some people brainless, incapable of understanding what being genuine is and are constantly foaming at the mouth to talk bad about an artist or pull non-existent drama out of thin air. It's exhausting. This is why I'm constantly rooting for positive friendships between black women rappers and black pop girlies. We are in dire need of the imagery.
