Thanks for the great video. My wife and I will be there in three weeks and I was wondering if the mosquitoes or sand fleas were bad this time of year?

We got stuck on a boat(not moving) for about 1/2 hour and got bit by a bunch of sand flies before we had the chance to put on any spray. While on the island, we never noticed any of them and I think that was because it's always pretty windy.

UPDATE!!! We thought once we got bitten it was over and not a big deal. A few days after we got home we started getting these weird bites on our ankles that were super itchy. We struggled for a few days trying to figure out what was going on. We couldn't have bed bugs and they didn't start showing up until after Belize. The bites started to go away but my wife happened to go to the Dr. for something else and asked about the bites. My wife said she had been to another country and the Dr. said "Was it Belize?". Appeartantly another couple had the same issue after visiting Belize. This is gross but it was sand fleas that had laid eggs under our skin.
