OMG 😜 when I was 16yo i applied for work at RonJons surf shop . It had one door & Ron worked counter & did my interview!! 🌈🌞🌟 1983 lol

Great beach for beginner surfing. Very gentle slope so you can walk you board out very far don't even need to paddle to get out far enough to catch a wave. The smaller kids could even walk out real far and jump onto a wave and belly ride a surf board to shore.

And for the better surfers this causes endless headaches. Constantly having unknowledgeable and unskilled people in the water has nearly ruined my home beach. North of the pier.

The magic and perfection that used to be this area is gone. Completely overran by out of towners who care not for what makes it special in the first place. It’s essentially a sand box for adults to play in, leave their trash, impede the locals surfing/fishing and all with an entitled attitude.
