I had to go through my pain alone, and it left me with serious trust issues. The KID wouldn’t stand a chance. Parents need to help their kids avoid becoming unhealthy, not defend their bad habits. If it’s due to an illness, then that’s a different story but telling your kid it’s okay to be fat while they’re still a kid is only going to get worse in the future.

And were clearly never a fat kid. Love you Trixie and Katya!
@mordecaiissad85296 ай бұрын
Nah, you can support your kid and give them the love and attention they deserve and need while supporting them to get to a healthier weight while not shaming them or criticising them. Every child deserves parents that won't let them to suffer the life long consequences of being overweight through your childhood and who will protect them from people bully them.
@DogNamedWatson6 ай бұрын
I mean you SHOULD encourage them to be healthy. You can do that without bullying them. There isn't anything wrong with being fat morally, and fat people deserve respect, but being fat has serious consequences on your health and life. It's not like being black, or being gay, or being trans, where you are born that way and all risks associated with it come from society. Nobody is born fat, it's not an identity, and even if everyone treated fat people perfectly, their health would STILL be at risk, because fat is unhealthy Being fat is more like being a smoker than it is to being a minority
