I know this is a bit early but this track just got a New Update! Here's what has been added or fixed: - I've added a 1 Lap (Section based) version to address the criticism about the track being too long - Fixed a previous crash issue - Fixed some respawn points and improved the CPU/Item paths Thank you to all the people who are helping me improving the track with your feedback!!

Gotta admit, this is pretty darn cool and well excecuted! I love the incorparation of more destinct areas compared to the original. The og definitely has a general mall vibe, but not many locations that can be picked out of a crowd other than maybe the parking lot. This one though has some actual iconic mall spots, like the food court, theater, and kids area! That's exactly what a sequal to should do imo, take the original and elaborate and expand on it in some way, and this delivers! Excellent work.

The movie theater section reminded me of a track i made Its a movie studio that has you drive through the recwption area then enter the actual studio Each lao the studio set chabges to a different them, like horror or godzilla etc And the set is full of peops and stuff and the background is a green screen, but then you race through the actual theater and can see the race through the movie set that just happened with all the sfx

Yeah, I would say that I wasn't very happy with how the scaling turned out. I initially tried exporting the track at a bigger size but then some parts would appear way too big. So yeah, this is more due to a mistake I made while modeling the map

The track looks awesome! The reusing of some assets is pretty cool! Like the little bottle building used in baby park showing up. I feel like it should use a little more animations like having the screen that shows a picture of Toad’s Turnpike scroll through different advertisements such as Princess Orange or Morton’s Construction. The same thing can be said for the arcade where it would be cool to see the classic Mario doing a little walking cycle This makes me think of other concepts Nintendo could pull off if they even thought about a sequel to this track. Like driving around on different floors of the mall on different laps, items going on flash sale so the item roulette has a higher chance of giving you the item no matter what place you’re in or going into certain shops that have item boxes that give you specific items like a flower shop that gives fire flowers.

Thank's for the advices!! Anyways the reason why I didn't use lots of animations is because I'm kinda bad at making them🤣. I would need to sit one day and learn them for good. And yeah, I feel like these sequels have an incredible potential if Nintendo will manage to implement these and even more ideas. That another reason why I can't wait for the next game to come!

This makes me think how cool it would be to see a lot of the more recent tracks revisited down the line. They could always make another track with the sane name like they've done with Wario Stadium and Sherbet Land. It would just be cool to see these tracks either expanded on or taken into new directions altogether.

Yeah, I can totally see that. I initially tried using the lap changing arrows but since they were very tricky to set up I had to delete them. I think they would've made the track way less confusing. Thank's anyways!

It's development is currently suspended as i'm actually enjoying making tracks way more. I've been thinking if I should delete the project or not as i'm afraid that it isn't going to be played by a lot of people since the wiiu is basically dead, especially after the servers closure. I'm hoping to make that definitive decision before the next year starts
