You can't really compare them out of strategical context, since the damage always is either a function over time or a function over troop amount with linear growth/decay, which shuts to 0 when all troops are dead. Whilst those tests are fancy, they're by far not representative for the quality of the troop in a given set.

Fun coc attack tip: Request for super goblins in your clan and just fill your cc with them, then request for a blimp, and when you attack, deploy the blimp having super goblins in it, and when the blimp explodes, then deploy a rage spell on the super goblins..this will for sure take down the townhall and give you the star for the townhall.. Most super troops have their unique quirks that make them worth upgrading and using, the super archer is good for funnelling and sniping defences (sometimes even inferno towers or air defences!), the inferno dragon is good with a witch to stop queen charges or at least force a freeze or even a panic ability to avoid wasting the late freeze (a queen walk usually won’t pull the CC), the super witch is good with yetis after a sui-heroes charge and warden walk to funnel the troops to charge into a base laid out with multi infernos.

4:31 yes, there is a very specific benefit to having one troop have the same stats as two troops. this'll be a long comment, so prepare yourself. besides multi-target & splash damage defenses, the one troop is going to last longer since when it gets to half health, it's stats don't halve. compare this to two troops, where once one is dead, then the stats will be that of one troop, rather than two. confused with the reasoning? let's try to think of the two troops as one troop for a moment. when the imaginary one troop gets to half health (when one of the two troops dies), it's stats will be halved (there is only one troop now). so, in a nutshell, everything will have double stats until one troop dies (two troops), in comparison to everything having double stats without halving at half health (one troop). when attacking a multi-target defense, the one troop will become even stronger in comparison. since both troops are being attacked at once, that means that both health bars will deplete at once. let's try the imaginary one troop explanation again. when the imaginary one troop faces a multi-target defense, it won't have double health, since the multi-target defense will be doing double the damage against the troop (the defense will be targeting both troops, nullifying the double health). if the two troops are grouped together, this will also apply to splash damage defenses. so, in a nutshell, everything except the health will have double stats (two troops), in comparison to everything having double stats, including health (one troop). you know what? I might make my own video on super troops vs. normal troops. that might take a few years though, I'm only town hall 7 :/

In conclusion: Super troops are better. here's why: barbarian is good at attacking with groups while the super barbarian can handle defenses by himself because of increased DPS and the rage. archers are good when they're spread out, because if they're grouped up, a bomb, giant bomb, or mortar easily wipe them out, while the super archer can take out multiple buildings at once, and has increased DPS. giant is very good at taking light hits and is also not that bad against defenses, on the other hand, the super giant can take heavy and light hits and is good at taking out defenses and taking out walls like it's nothing. goblins are good at stealing loot but have very low hp, while super/sneaky goblins have decent hp, increased DPS, and invisibility power. wall breakers are good at taking out walls, have decent death damage but sadly have very low hp, while super wall breakers are literally nuclear bombs, they have good hp, are VERY GOOD at taking out walls, and VERY GOOD death damage. Balloons are good at taking out defenses and have very decent death damage but their hp straight-up sucks, U CAN'T TELL ME IT HAS GOOD HP! but, rocket balloon has not-so-bad hp, good DPS, and fast cuz of the rocket boost. oh no there's like 10 more to go the wizard has very good DPS but decent hp while the super wizard has VERY good DPS and good hp with the chain power which makes him op. dragon has very good everything (but trash IQ🤣), and the super dragon has too much of everything. Pekka is invincible, while super Pekka is more invincible cuz of the death damage. the baby dragon is decent ngl while the super/inferno dragon is good at everything. minions are good with groups but very weak against splash, they have not bad DPS, while super minions have decent hp, good DPS, and that ranged ability. (super hog rider will be coming soon to coc yay!) valkyrie is good against multiple buildings at once, she's very decent, while the super version is a little bit buffed, and the only thing making it better is the rage it drops(reminds me of the lumberjack from clash royale) golem is ONLY good at tanking, his death damage isn't that bad tho, while the mountain golem is just straight up IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT, HES STRONGER THAN EVERY TROOP! oh wait-- i forgot the inferno tower and super / inferno dragon 😅. Good thing about super archer is that she can snipe air defenses and help create your funnel, she's like a bowler. Normal archers are not that good high level, but you can use them to snipe buildings and attack corner builder huts to avoid time fail, or in low level you can use them for GIBARCH attacks.

I use inferno dragon with a freeze spell cuz takes long time to charge the fire laser of inferno dragon. Also inferno dragon doesn’t have much HP

The super goblins are definitely worth upgrading wall breakers aren’t, use both on deck I’m town hall 14 so I’ve got experience. Also not accurate test cause some are used in different ways like inferno is supposed to have something tank for it not alone, baby dragon is opposite
