Infinite Warfare zombies definitely catered more towards the gameplay style that people had grown to love, while the Advanced Warfare exo-zombies mode deviated from the totally outlandish style that was set before it and was much more grounded into the game's reality. Like, whenever I try and discuss it that way, fanboys just be like, "Nu-uh, double-jumping zombies are freaking stupid and don't make any sense." To which I say, "Okay, so zombies using the military technology that they were wearing when they turned is ridiculous, sure, but giant, sixty foot tall robots stomping over the World War 1 trenches where there are literally crusader zombie ghosts from the mystical realm of 'Agartha' are running around trying to stop you from building these goddamned elemental wizard staffs makes total fucking sense, gotcha."

This is one of the best CoD's IMO, right after WaW and BO1. It'd finally got CoD into next-gen graphics, had incredible level design and locations, introduced a great spin on the stale zombie formula, and was futuristic (but not futuristic enough to be cringe). And the main antagonist, Irons, to this day remains the only villain in the entire series to be a more interesting and nuanced character than all other generic psychopath baddies. But it also was the first CoD to have lootboxes.

I liked this one. Definitely more then I did Ghosts. My loadout desires are very simple. Give me a Shotgun and a Full-auto Submachine Gun or Full-auto Assault Rifle and I'm content. I could find the weapons I needed in most mission of Advanced Warfare and maybe half the missions in Ghosts. It would have been fun if we got to choose the Exosuit class we used in some missions though.

You know what would've been cool? If the game took place in a reignited Korean War that the intro showed off. Its a goddamned shame how little attention it gets, especially since its one of the few everyone can get behind. Imagine mountain fighting, human wave assaults (or maybe mass robot waves or something if you don't wanna offend the Chinese (even though they can get stuffed) or something. You could do a Black Ops 2 and tie the future war with the past and jump between time lines.
