The Long Defeat suppressors hurt your range, while extended barrel increases it. This corresponds directly with a longer TTK at medium-long range due to less damage being put out as a result of bullet drop off. If you have good aim it’s just plainly better to use extended barrel because you can drop enemies quickly. If you have difficulty landing shots you might like the suppressor because people may not spot you as quickly when you engage them.

@@Finley72 so, source? yes, bullet drop is fine if you can aim. doesn't effect damage. if you test in custom game. shoot someone 150m with suppressor and with long barrel, it will do the same damage. just a quiet shot and can't go as straight as _far_ not to be confused with velocity. I've never experienced having to shoot someone with 1, 2, or 3 more times with an abr across the map because of a suppressor. yes, it might have been _easier_ with an extended barrel, but it didn't take any less time to kill or do less damage. Just because it effects bullet drop in the game doesn't mean it effects velocity. Check out Xclusiveace's video on drop and his tests on his channel.
