Cod Fishing Blyth Pier

A canny little midweek session mainly in daylight
It was very blustery and filming was tough being so exposed.
A nice few fish pulled out and all safe returned to scrap another day.

Cheers mate, south coast next up!! Never had a conger in me life so iv just been and bought some mooring rope (150lb mono) to make some traces. Gonna do what you do and fish with 2 rods for the first time ever and stand on a milk crate to get the height 😂🎣👍

Nice video again Steve,I was on there a fortnight ago sea was flat calm,6 whiting and a 2.71lb cod which had a scabby hole on its side,asked some lads about it they said it would be full of worms so I put it back.

Belta mate always great to watch local lads doing well 👍, have a look for a channel called Local marks fishing , lad is called will Nichol he is a pompey local , when a was with the RFA and was on the sir boats out of marchwood used to always try catch mullet from there never seen so many as the was there lol really good sport .

Try south sea beach stevie worked a dockyard used to fish south sea there’s a tackle shop in Portsmouth can’t remember the name look it up he’s a good kid used to get my bait from there he’ll point you in the right direction loads of different species down there big bass mullet and loads of species you don’t see up here good luck and tight lines down there we used to see monster bass and mullet in the docks in the summer obviously coudnt fish for them but the Bae systems staff had their own angling club and used to fish matches in the dockyard 🎣👍
