@@spartafishinguk caught a decent whiting from blyth. Could you recommend a good day out I'm from bishop Auckland but live in Ashington now love sea fishing for mental health reasons. Its good for the mind body and soul . Your videos are why I got out their gone from knowing nothing to casting a 15ft rod and catching you make these videos and inspire lots of people please keep doing them blanks or not. That's why we call it fishing not catching.

Although I now live in the Midlands, I'm a 67 year old fart Cod angler who's family and ancestors lived near Folkestone in Kent. They (and I) fished from Dover through Folkestone, Dungeness right through to Hastings. My PB cod from the beach was 2oz short of 23lb, and we caught every time we went cod fishing. It was BRILL! Now it's utter shite in comparison to then 😢☹️🎣 I dunno if it's because of over commercial fishing or global warming, or maybe both??! I think that I'll come up to Northumberland, because I'm insanely jealous!! 😉 lol ... Well done Fellas ❤. Nice video 👍🎣🎣

@@spartafishinguk my experience of B&B landladies isn't good buddy! They don't like commited anglers arriving "home" at 3am in the morning , and having a few beers or whisky before crashing out to do the same again the next day etc! Hence my TENT suggestion and preference 😂😂 lol

Another cracking video, great session by looks of it. Sound quality was fine. Me and my 11yr old are going to give Cambois a go this Friday night. Fished it for flatties in the summer by the river, but for cod are we better off down the Blyth end (behind the houses) of the beach, middle or up by the bushes by Charltons? Hoping to break our cod blank 👍

Hello mate, I'm sure that rod will serve you well mate, I get mine in January. I'm not really the right man to ask as I have never really had many reels. My Shimano Ultegra 14000 XSC was well over £200, However, my mate has just got a Penn Battle 3 and he is more than happy with it and I think they're around £130 mate. Hope this helps
