This is my all time favorite Call of Duty song because of the strong emotions that it invokes. During the first half it has this powerful sense of mourning for what you've lost to get to this point, and then during the second half it takes a triumphant reprisal from that mourning. Where before you were mourning for your losses, now a new strength to avenge your lost comrades above all else awakens. It's the kind of triumphant song that makes a soldier remember what they're fighting for.

+ian andrade remodeled verison or not, i would still play it if it wasn't for shit load of hackers ruining the game and they don't do anything even if you report them. And random host system, somehow game always decide a player as host with worst connection. Also hacking tools so wide that everyone can unlock and select their levels, prestige levels and weapons/attachments and perks and shit

this music has the feeling as if Ghost and Roach's souls are screaming out of the earth to tell Soap and Price to kill Shepherd. Hans Zimmer did an excellent job

To me the melancholy melody that plays during the first half showcases Soap's sorrow towards the death of his comrades and the sense of betrayal he has from his commander Shepherd. The second half however sounds like Soap is gaining a heroic resolve that even in the face of all the loss and destruction surrounding him he will defeat anything in his path and kill Shepherd thus saving the day. Sounds like victory.
