For anyone struggling to attune the relics (because someone already took the triangles): You don't need to shoot the runes if you have relics on you. Instead, stand at the point where you align the shape on the walls and the prompt to "Perform summoning ritual" will appear anyway. Do that and you can attune your relic, even if someone has used up the runes.

yeah tried that now must be fixed cause i went to all 3 points but some nice guy thought i was trying to get legendary loot so he was dropping but shaking my head no. I kept dropping a piece to show i wanted this not that lol. maybe cause i got all 3 in the game i have to try another game to activate them

Just a note, it seems you need to stay quite close. I went onto a neighbouring roof for cover and everything despawned, including the placed items. Needless to say peeviness followed.

game is broken. I tried 4 time and spend all my best loot for this. 2 times dog killed a sargent and i had a giraf toy, but nothing appeard, same with aether storm, was in it and spend a couple gas masks, 100 kills in each of 2 games (i counted) - result same, nothing appeared. The only relic i could get is one that under the bed. This is why i probobly should wait once more until they fix the f game. So unnoing

oh yeah, forget to mention. Last week or so game is broken at the point that sometimes zombie ignoring me completely. And im serious i do "safe" contracts or outlasts without shooting a bullet, zombie just walking outside and dont agro. Sometimes for a brief moment they agro, but not for long. Waiting fix for that as well

I just tried today and I had the same thing. Got the one under the bed but not the one from the Sargent or the storm. I went to two merc camps as well so my dog killed two Sargents and nothing happened. In the storm I must have killed about 100 zombies and my dog was killing them too but didn’t get anything. Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

Can relics be tuned after someone else did them? Cause I tried doing it after another team did it and the symbols wouldn't shine for me anymore

I'm no longer sure to be honest. You definitely could do it before the last week's update but since then they seem to have nerfed it radically. Unfortunately, since I have already done the unlock, I can't verify - I can only go for the free loot and that you definitely can only get one of nowadays.

Just tried to do it solo but my god it was so tough fighting the boss disciple towards the end and the megas smh took me like 15 mins, another team ended up helping me finish it off. And like last time super helpful video thanks

You still need to unlock or be in a party with someone who unlocked, otherwise the big portal will not spawn for you.

Learnt the hard way when doing it solo, if you don’t kill the disciple fast enough it will respawn the dog and mega abomination. 😮

Game keep freezes after I open the portal. I’ve tried it 3x’s and it’s the same result. It’s annoying bcuz I’m fully kitted out. This is why I took a break from zombies, the crashes are beyond frustrating. You do all the work to upgrade just for nothing smh

Today I went with picture and laptop to attune. Made picture np. Went to laptop location,found triangle but no runes appear.. Spent some time running around. Nothing. Went to 3rd location just in case I mixed up items but couldnt find it. Went back to 3rd. Ran around the triangle. Nothing. Exfil. Come baCK with journal and laptop. Went to both places found triangles but no runes.. Wtf

I think after everyone kept abusing the freebies there they severely limited the availability of attune stations. You'll probably have to do one item per round and literally rush them as early as possible :(

Its bcs of the noobs who run there to get free legendary Tools for nothing so they steal your attempt to make the purple relic to golden. U need to rush quick to the location u want focus and best is do it with scorcher because every little guy is using it for getting quick to Red zone. So be faster then the rest of the junks :) i had the same trouble about the relicts and get mad.

Actually.. After few tries I think it was because my RGL somehow affects it.. Cos I was coming to the triangle spamming the hell out of it (cos I am afraid to be in red zone).. Last time I threw monkey instead and came quietly and it was working (after 3 unsuccessful attempts with RGL). Could be a coincidence of course but next time I do this sort of things I'll keep RGL off for a minute

It may be because someone else is already doing them. You definitely can do the thing multiple times but if it gets crowded, it seems things become a bit glitchy

They nerfed the attune stations so those are now available only once per round each. And because they also give free loot, it's now a race every round who gets there first. If you don't see the runes, that means someone has used the station already.

@@wesleytan7600 character doesn't matter. No idea why it wasn't there for you, it should be. As soon as you put the last item on the pedestal and big portal spawns - that should be it. You don't even have to kill the boss.

Does the golden Portal the mega abom comes out of remain on the map after you unlock new dark Eather? And where does the black one go to that you see in the video? Sorry im trying keep track of what leads where

So, once you unlock the Dark Aether, the big portal will spawn for you when you get close to it. It won't be golden though, it only turns gold when you place a sigil in it (or red if you place an elder sigil). The small portal used for story mission also remains there forever, so if for whatever reason you want to re run the mission, you can. Hope this helps :)

What happens if you die here after placing all the relics with a tombstone? Do you get all four back in ur tombstone or do you need to get the relics back from the beginning?

If you die before you placed them on pedestals, you're fine, you'll have them in your tomb. If after, nothing needs to be done, unlock is complete once you placed the last item

Yes. Just go to where the triangle lines up and it will give u a prompt to summon a boss.

@puggy13 no, once last item lands on the pedestal and portal appears, it's unlocked for you. Boss is just a bonus :)

@t3mpomusic you need to interact with "Perform summoning ritual" prompt for upgrade to work. It appears where you stand to align the lines on the walls, even if you didn't shoot any runes.

Just wanted to add that their is a bug or a time limit. I was doing science journal and I had very little zombies actually pushing me. After a bit of time the collector disappeared and I lost my purple journal. Again not sure if this was an intended time limit issue or a bug.

It is a bug, sometimes somehow another team can interfere with your process and kinda override it with their own. Annoying as hell!

Wow this is a ridiculous missions due to how long its gonna take to finish. First you have to do the act missions. Then get the items which is 2 matches. Getting to the triangles first is gonna take multiple matches, a min of three because the chances of getting all three is super low.

I failed to kill the boss disciple , after i kill the mega bomb it spawn another mega bomb , all 3 sentry gun expire , 0 ammo and dog die also , so i faster run away , not sure whether the rift is complete or not

@@hmlc76 yeah, you should be fine. Unlock is done once you place all relics on pedestals and spawn the portal. Boss is just a bonus.

@@Quadro40k Could you elaborate on this? After placing the items on the pedestals, I was fighting the disciple and megabomb and ran out of ammo. I tried to find some zombies nearby to stock up but I guess I went too far (I just went behind the building the rune is on at 13:00) and the disciple disappeared. All my relics were gone as well. Does it still count as having been completed, even though I never killed the disciple? If so, how can I tell for sure? If any clarification could be offered it would be very much appreciated because it really put me off. EDIT: The pedestals are still there. There's no big portal, but a a small one I can use a sigil on.

@@dystopiawanderer this shouldn't matter. Placing the relics in pedestal and making the portal and boss spawn should complete the unlock. I tested this to work via alt account in s2 and then back in season 3 as well. So unless something has changed, you should be all good.

@@Quadro40k Thank you for your reply. I just watched your follow up video and that large portal doesn't spawn for me, so it seems either something glitched or they changed it. That said. I was able to get the drawing again but not the two other items. EDIT: The large portal is there now, two deployments later. Odd, but oh well. When you stand at the point where symbols align, a prompt appears on the screen saying "Perform the Summoning". You need to press the interact button, otherwise the boss doesn't spawn. You only have this prompt if you have correct unattuned relic in your inventory

So I'm confused... I did not complete the attuning part therefore my journal, drawing and the laptop are purple, I brought 1 of these things in a round to attune them but I got a crystal, an aether tool and points and I was solo. Why?

@Predator8916 once you start the attune process, there's a prompt at the point where you align the triangle "perform summoning ritual". You need to interact with it, otherwise hit just get the rewards but no upgraded relic

So we got lucky last night. We ran it with a three man crew, and Tier 3 was completely empty. I did emphasize on your suggestion to do it in 3-part: 4.3 mission > Purple EE collection > Purple to Gold EE Tier 3. But! Although the circle-summoning was fairly easy…let me tell you: Boss-Disciple was near indestructible, because the Storm was EXACTLY at the S3-DA portal. 9 turrets just made him chuckle at us. In the end two randoms got chased by it (outside the storm) and killed him while we ran out of turrets and ammo. We did get the reward rift. But that was BY FAR the hardest thing I have had to do in-game.😅

@@Quadro40k It does seem he gets weaker depending on his whereabouts. I took him to Tier 2 in another game - when he was honed in on me, even though I did not summon him - but Tier 2 made him seem much much weaker. And no more Mega’s spawned out of him there.

Someone beats you to it. Since they got nerfed and are only available one time per round each, people rush them for free rewards. You need to push those triangles in the beginning of the round now because people keep abusing these :/.

Question fam, what if you are first to the red zone and no runes spawn at all? Was thinking I could get all purp items then try to upgrade but to no avail, runes didn't spawn Update, ignore this, found out you can still line up the shape with no runes and force the ritual, 3rd rift unlocked, cheers.
