Cod on the rod at international paints

I'm pleased I didn't go for the Sonik, I chose the Penn Tidal XR420 matched with a Surfblaster III 8000 model. Now all I have to do is whet a line. Keep at it guys.

I fish high and low mate fish it right through normally as we normally get out for 10+ hours a session 😊

It’s awkward to get to mate it’s right next to heworth metro when you drive down you come To a parking spot then you have to walk down from there 5 mins to the river I’ll try sort an image out for you this week mate and send you it on Facebook

@@allseasonseafishing ive gived my sonik sks black 12 footer to my son and my sk3 as well i had them for8 years before my sons got them and winched up 5 and 6 big mackerel vertically up southshields pier wall and they have not snapped yet touch wood

The new rods seem canny Adam uses one and it’s much better quality than the old one I had the one I had was an original sks black

My Son and I have both had Sonik SKS rods snap on us, they are very poor quality. I still have a SK3 which hasn't snapped yet but I still don't trust it. I will never buy another Sonik again, they are rubbish.

Nice session pal.. shame about the rod snapping 🫣 think its because your lead is inside the tip when you cast 👀its the same as lifting a fish when your rod is nearly vertical "high sticking" hope it makes sense 👍
