@@VerrücktYT I’ve always went for high rounds more than Easter eggs so I’m not too familiar with the story especially after bo2. I always remembered playing as the mystery soldiers for all the waw maps besides der riese so that surprised me when I went back and played these maps in the waw version

@@Stormtrooper91597 but we still have to discover the meaning of some of the shizo drawings all over the wall behind speed cola (which was on the waw version), still , waw verruckt came with ton of lore for the future. waw verruckt has lore that went all the way to black ops 6.

WAW is still arguably to me the #1 best CoD. The darkness and atmosphere, the zombies and errie sounds. I used to not want to play that game alone at night. Thats how scary it was back in its day. Now zombies feels like an arcade. You cant beat the original. WaW is as good as it comes in both real war. And gruesome zombies.

People may bash me for this but I personally think it’s the greatest WW2 game ever made just for the reasons you mentioned alone. It’s eerie and dark from the minute you load it up paired with the iconic music.
