15:56. "Heavy set?" Only back then would that guy be considered heavy set.

The lieutenant, played by Fredd Wayne, would go on ,ten years or so later, to play Benjamin Franklin in the TV series ' Bewitched '.
@fromthesidelines7 ай бұрын
Fredd was touring the country with a one-man show in which he dramatized Franklin's life by acting as him (similar to Hal Holbrook's "Mark Twain Tonight!"). Bill Asher, Liz Montgomery's husband- and producer/director of "BEWITCHED"- saw one of his performances, was impresed, and invited Wayne to appear as Ben in a two-part episode {"My Friend Ben"}.

1 to 14 years is a harsh sentence, compassion should have been shown by the judge!
@StrasseBerlin6 жыл бұрын
A 1 - 14 years sentence is rather harsh for a father who wanted to spend his daughter's final months/week/days in Hawaii. Extenuating circumstances and all,

Because of the circumstances, I believe he was released after serving about a year of his sentence.

Okay, you have to remember, this was a time in history where, no matter what your excuse was, right was right, and wrong was punished. I sure miss when the criminals were punished and the heroes rewarded. Not like Today, where it's quite the opposite.

So sad indeed young people die of illnesses, while others throw away their life so stupidly, drinking, blowing, "shooting", speeding on highways... listening to (c)rap...

Before the Internet and e-mails, there were pneumatic tubes, which transmitted messages by way of air.
@ckom00079 жыл бұрын
They still exist, and work very well. We have them in our most modern hospitals. They are used to swiftly send blood samples throughout the building. Try that with email!
