Arguably the most helpful video universally. This is not an exaggeration. I am stunned. I have been having non resolvable problems with my Lenovo T410 for ages, not identifying the stupid integrated camera and simply recognising it as a usb device with a yellow exclamation mark and the dreaded error 43. The official Lenovo support forum still doesn't have an iota of suspicion about how to resolve the problem!!! I can't thank you enough sir, you have made my day!

Tried this fix, everything fine until I went to the System32/DriverStor/FileRepository to find the neutral usbstor.inf_amd64_b79f4ca6f2746208, but it is not on my system. Don't know what else to do with this now. I have a WD My Book and the thing keeps saying I have this error.

I understood and followed all instructions until the end: "Replace existing file of same name with this older version??" Existing file is 2012 and what you had me copy is 2010. Will this not cause problems in other areas? Thanks for your advice.

I have not tried this yet, I ordered a new Wi-if card, this is a new computer I am working with. It will be sent back to,Amazon, if the new Wi-if does not work. However, my comment is solely based on the well lit, up close screens, the length of time at each, the highlight of what files to click on... this alone far out passes countless other videos I sat and watched. It has been many many years since I built my last PC, that day is fast approaching.. lol. You did a remarkable job keeping the screens close up. Be very careful should you choose to follow the instructions in this video! Each step takes you closer and closer to a very expensive trip to the computer repair shop. Read the previous posts.. when there is a shadow of a doubt and you open that last info file and press paste don't do it. Take it to the shop, let them take responsibility for repairing your system and back up, back up, back up.

AT 2:22 It says to PASTE those 2 files here and "replace" > not sure I understand, paste it anywhere inside the INF folder?? and replace meaning replace what exactly??? I dont see any similar/name files inside that INF folder to replace??

He or she means. Just paste it without touching any file. Once you paste it. It’s going to say “Would you like to replace these two existing files?” Then say yes and there you go.

I have problem with my gtx 560, heres what i notice, i right click my computer, manage, device manager, display, NVIDIA geforce gtx560, there's a color yellow exclamation point, then i go to properties and this message show's up. "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" what i did? I reinstall the drivers already, rollback, install older version of drivers, d'dnt work for me so i decided to format my computer, but still same problem, im freak out, should i need to buy a new video card? code 43 appeared today on me, the pixels were messed up, i think its a graphics card issue for me, the pixels appear everywhere on my screen like the literal matrix, thank god i ordered a GTX 980, so i dont know what happened but i tried cleaning up the pc, nothing happened, its a cable issue probably, at first i was like : "bro did my pc just get hacked?" it did not, my graphics card went insane when i was asleep, and the pixels had a "party".

I never sorted it out. Got a tech friend to wipe all the spy and malware. They said it basically consisted of deleting all the files that he didn't recognize as being part of "normal functioning" for the computer. Whatever that means. I don't know, I'm a social scientist.

I was messing around for almost 2 hours. One of the usb ports probably got corrupted on my end. For everyone who is reading this perhaps try plugging it into a different usb port and see if it works. This happend to me with a capture card that only recognized 1 port and always ignored the other one. I do not know why.

I did everything you show in the tutorial. Is not working ! But I have another problem, I can't update the Windows (7 Ultimate , 64 bit) and I can't update as well no one of the Device Manager components. May be for this reason it can't update or repair that code 43 error

In Device Manager, right-click on the problem device and click Uninstall.A dialog box may pop up asking you to confirm the installation. Click OK - Device Manager will uninstall the device. After uninstalling the driver, click Scan for hardware changes in menu at the top of the Window.

Is this method only for usb storage devices or any usb device in general? I see the "USBSTOR" node of the registry editor may indicate 'usb storage'. My problem, I think, is with a Jabra Pro headset base.

@@ceciliabakalian well some of the bluetooth related problems on windows are actually update related, if your pc was manufactured before 2013 i am afraid you wont be able to fix that because microsoft did tests on pc made 2013 forward, so maybe buying a bluetooth adapter may help but not certain.

После переустановки системы вы озаботились установкой драйверов, и не только к видеокарте? Посмотрел я что представляет из себя Lenovo G570, у него двойная графика от Intel и AMD. А это значит, что надо ставить на видеокарту не один драйвер, а целый комплект и в определённом порядке. И так качаем: Драйвер чипсета. Драйвер видео Intel, которое встроено в процессор. Драйвер на видеокарту Radeon от AMD. Теперь удаляем установленный ранее драйвер на видеокарту утилитой AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility. Перезагружаемся, устанавливаем драйвер сначала на чипсет, потом на видео Intel и только потом на видео AMD.
