In this block we are exploring some "chip" tunes. For those who don't know what a chip tune is... it's a song made using old sound computer chips. Coding tunes for coders.
Often the chips provided only square, triangles and pulse waves; others however provide more compatibilities. Computer and game consoles of the 8-bit period mostly use these for sound. Later system could play multiple samples and then of course like now...they can just play full audio tracks without any limitations. Which is great but, I'm still a fan of that old' skool stuff.
I suspect most of these are simulated chip tunes and a few I added from real/emulated chips. Also, I tossed in some great game tune covers so listen for those as well.
This was a beast to put together as most songs are short and I gathered a lot of them. (See the song list). For the visuals, I made 8-bit like versions of many of the videos on this channel. See which ones you recognize.
After, the last 3hr+ code block I wanted to make a short set as this takes forever to make, upload and process....it didn't happen and so we get another long set of awesome background tunes.

***These were blocked due to the video. The original video portion was heavily edited, however it still tripped the CP protection and put a "block" on the whole video. So that section was trimmed out completely. Which messed up all the times but hopefully they are fixed now.
